To those who think Sandra Bullock has a “nontraditional” family, get a load of THIS.
And by this, I mean some very wise words about family and VALUES, people. People magazine reports:
“I have no idea what a ‘traditional family’ looks like anymore,” the Oscar winner, 51, says. “If a traditional home is one that is filled with lots of love and poop jokes, no sleep, schedule books filled with more kids’ social events than adults’ and lots of yelling over who touched who first … then I have a very traditional family.”
Asked if she would ever see herself remarrying, the mom of Louis, 5, and Laila, 3½, replies, “I don’t think so, but I can see myself in a committed, safe relationship where there is lots of love and laughter, and ‘making memories’ is No. 1 on the to-do list.”
Hear hear! I like memories and cute kids and especially re-conceptualizing the word “traditional.” GET IT, GIRL.
Do YOU think Sandy’s fam is traditional? And what does a traditional family unit mean to YOU?
