Lamar Odom has been transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he is receiving treatment following his health scare in Nevada. A source said that the transfer was necessary so that Odom could receive the best possible care.
A source at the Los Angeles hospital said, “For someone with heart problems, there is really no better cardiology team in the country than the Cedars team. Cedars has put together the best team possible.”
On Tuesday, Khloe Kardashian issued a statement with regard to the situation. She said, “I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work. Under their amazing care, incredible strides have been made.”
According to other reports, Khloe is set to quit “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” so that she can focus on helping Lamar get better.
An insider said, “She has no plans to resume filming ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’, and will continue to be at the hospital every day with Lamar. But Kris wasn’t happy about Khloe’s decision because she is a huge part of the show. For now, she’s hoping Khloe will change her mind. Kris isn’t ready to play hardball with her daughter by reminding her that she is contractually obligated to do the show.”
The source added, “The rest of the family is also very concerned that Khloe is putting her life on hold for Lamar. This recovery could take months. There are commitments that Khloe is obligated to do, and she just can’t not show up. It’s causing a lot of stress.”
