She and husband Mike Fisher share a seven-month-old son named Isaiah Michael. On the topic of breastfeeding their son, she said that she will do it as “long as I can take it. It’s hard. My supply is pretty nil. We have to supplement with formula. I’m doing the best that I can, you know?”
The CMA Awards host, whose new album, Storyteller (preorder it here), is out Oct. 23, says sheââ¬â¢s more ââ¬Åloosey-gooseyââ¬Â than she ever thought sheââ¬â¢d be as a mom ââ¬â and confesses that motherhood and marriage werenââ¬â¢t always where she saw her life going.
ââ¬ÅI never dreamt of my wedding day and the perfect guy,ââ¬Â she says. ââ¬ÅThen I met Mike, and I was like, ââ¬ËWow, so now I know what I was missing.ââ¬â¢ And the same with my son. I was never like, ââ¬ËI want kids so bad.ââ¬â¢ And now that I have Isaiah in my life, Iââ¬â¢m like, ââ¬ËWhat did I do before?ââ¬â¢ ââ¬Â
