Earlier today, we told you of how Jennifer Lawrence penned an article for Lena Dunham’s “Lenny” column where she spoke in detail about the wage gap between sexes in Hollywood. Now, her “Silver Linings Playbook” co-star Bradley Cooper is chiming in.
Sienna Miller also recently spoke up about backing out of a play because she was set to receive less pay than a male co-star. Of that, Bradley said, “One thing I could say is that’s interesting because if you think that you only deserve a certain amount and that’s not correct, it’s about changing that mindset and sticking up for yourself the way that Sienna did. So that’s a great thing.”
In a more recent interview, Bradley said, “There’s a double standard in the whole world, yeah, for sure. This is just one aspect. Anytime there’s a place where a voice can come out and be outspoken – something Sienna did, or Jennifer – that’s great. I think it is making a difference.”
