Chelsea Clinton Thought Kanye West’s Presidential Candidacy Announcement Was “Awesome.”

Kanye West was seen partying in Atlanta with fellow rappers Drake, 2Chainz, Outkast and Future after performing at Hot 107.9's 20th birthday bash on Saturday night (june 20). The notoriously outspoken performer wore a khaki silk baggy suit for the celebrations at Compound nightclub, during which he looked to be drinking rose Moet Champagne. He stood behind hip hop bad boy 2Chainz, who appeared to be smoking a massive joint. The party was happening soon before Kanye jetted back to Los Angeles to be with wife Kim Kardashian and their daughter North for Father's Day. Don’t tell Hillary Clinton

Okay, I know that this is just a publicity/momentum thing and Chelsea Clinton has a pretty good idea of what makes a good presidential candidate, but she was ALL ABOUT Kanye West‘s VMA announcement that he’ll be running in 2020.

The former First Daughter thought Yeezy’s announcement was “awesome,” because his long, odd speech apparently could inspire kids to get politically involved. Far fetched, but hey, maybe?

“I definitely think who runs for office is really important. Even if him just saying that helps spark a little boy or a little girl who was watching the VMAs to think, ‘Oh, wow! Maybe I should do that,’ that’s awesome.”

Little kids don’t typically watch the VMAs, Chelly. BUT- would she actually consider voting for Yeezy?

“I think it depends on who he’d be running against.”

So, just looking to the future: if Hillary wins in 2016, there’s a good chance she’ll run against West for a second term. And that would be a conflit of interest for Chelly.

Would you vote for Kanye in 2020?
