Monica Lewinsky may inspire Caitlyn Jenner, but there’s way more work to be done!

Caitlyn was moved by the controversial public speaker’s recent TED Talk about anti-bullying,  and now it seems she’s joined Bystander Revolution, an anti-bullying movement that inspires people to combat bullying with kindness and inclusion, as an adviser.

Lewinsky said:

“Often being publicly ridiculed or witnessing someone else being ridiculed can push us into silence. Many of us find ourselves as targets or bystanders in the online world of cyber bullying and digital harassment and we freeze.”

“My experience of being cyber bullied and shamed for nearly two decades has given me a unique perspective. Having come out on the other side, I want to help other victims of the shame game survive and thrive.”

Yeah. As the most controversial white house intern pretty much…ever, we get how her life changed because of the internet.  It’s inspiring that she wants to help others!

She continued:

“By stepping into compassion for both ourselves and others, we can begin to shift the culture. I’m passionate about joining forces with Bystander Revolution because their mission is to help people see all the ways they can be empowered to take that small, but impactful, step.”

hear, hear, Monica!
