Kim Kardashian & Bruce Jenner Film On Melrose

Of COURSE Transparent is must-see TV in the Kardashian/Jenner family.

According to US, Transparent‘s creator Jill Soloway explained that Transparent helped stepdaughter Kim Kardashian come to terms with Jenner’s transition from Bruce Jenner to the woman the world now knows as Caitlyn, and the two watch the show together!

“I actually had great conversations with Caitlyn and with Kim, awesome little moments where Kim told me that the family watched the show together. Caitlyn told me that she loved it,” Soloway said. Knowing Vanity Fair‘s July cover star, 65, is a fan of the series, Soloway has extended an open invitation for Jenner to visit the set, and appear in an episode if she’s interested. “I don’t know if she would even want to act, but we definitely want to incorporate the fact that she came out into this season,” the showrunner hinted. “Just to have that be part of a conversation somewhere in a scene, for sure.”

I think it’s really cool that both Jenner and Soloway are dedicated to furthering understanding of the transgender community.

“She’s changing the world. She’s a hero,” Soloway told Us. As for that stunning “Call Me Caitlyn” Vanity Fair cover? “She looks like an angel,” the TV exec enthused.

As we ALL know, Jenner plans to tell the story of her transition in an eight-part E! docuseries, I Am Cait, premiering in July…and it’ll probably be (like Transparent) essential viewing for the state of gender relations in the US.  Get on board, America!
