2015 Billboard Music Awards - Arrivals

Those long dresses are DANGEROUS!

Both Chrissy Teigen and an unassuming audience member at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards learned that lesson the hard way, yo.  Us Weekly reports:

BBMAs co-host Chrissy Teigen was walking up to the stage at MGM Grand’s Garden Arena on Sunday night when she crossed paths with another woman. Trying to avoid a collision, the unidentified attendee rushed to get out of Teigen’s way, only to trip over the train of the supermodel’s red gown and fall to the floor.

The 2014 Sports Illustrated cover girl (and current Lip Sync Battle color commentator) paused for a moment as she was going up the stairs, turning her head slightly as the woman stepped on her dress. However, she quickly regained her composure and continued on to meet her co-host, Ludacris, at the podium.

The next morning, Teigen, 29, addressed the minor mishap on Twitter, writing, “for the record I couldn’t even see the woman falling behind me — she stepped on my dress and i was trying not to eat s–t.”

She went on to address comments that she should have turned to help the woman up. “everyone is saying i am some sort of monster for not stopping and giving her CPR or something — she is fine, was not a big deal,” John Legend‘s wife wrote, jokingly adding, “she should be out of the hospital by christmas.”

You can check out the exact moment of trippage HERE, but I think in general this probably isn’t a huge deal. As you may know, I’m a HUGE fan of Chrissy Teigen- I think she has an awesome sense of humor about her life in the spotlight, and I think her twitter comments reflect her ability to call BS on too much celeb drama.

What do you think about her attitude towards trippy-gate 2015?
