2nd Annual "Beyond Hunger: A Place At the Table" Event in LA

Thank god. I think if I saw Susan Sarandon pulling a Hilary Duff my head would explode.

At a screening of her new Lifetime movie, The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe, Sarandon dished about how insane dating in LA is (I can attest to this) after her split from ex-boyfriend Jonathan Bricklin. Us Weekly reports:

“I wouldn’t even know where to look for a man in L.A.,” the 68-year-old Oscar winner confessed. “Do you know where to look for a man in L.A.? I have no idea how to meet anybody, really. I’m just recently single, so I’m just bopping around trying to figure it out.”

Navigating the dating scene is especially difficult because she can’t really be, well, on the scene, she noted. “I can’t really go to a bar, because when I go to a place and sit down, then everybody wants pictures,” she explained. “And then it’s kind of off-putting for anyone.”

Aw, she sounds so sweet, and genuinely annoyed at the paparazzi.  The star has been single since splitting from 37-year-old Bricklin earlier this year, who m she was with for 5 years.

“I don’t think I would have been with the guy I was with for so long if we hadn’t been working together, and I got to know him first,” she admitted. “So I don’t know. If you have advice, I would like to know.”

Just don’t mention dating apps — Sarandon is not the Tinder type. “I don’t think that the swiping right or left would work for me,” she told Us.
