Sometimes it seems like Scarlett Johansson takes herself a bit too seriously, and her interview in the new issue of Glamour is a perfect example of just that.
You know how everyone calls her ScarJo, just like they call Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Branglina and Robert Pattinson gets called RPattz? It’s something that happens and it’s kinda corny but completely innocuous. However, ScarJo (yep, I went there!) doesn’t like it at all, and in fact she thinks it’s “violent” and “insulting”. Oookay.
“I associate that name with, like, pop stars,” she tells Glamour. “It sounds tacky. It’s lazy and flippant.”
“And there’s something kind of violent about it,” she adds. “There’s something insulting about it.”
If we can get real with each other for a minute, Scarlett kinda needs to bring herself back down to earth, right? I can think of a lot of things that are way more flippant and insulting, like maybe her thoughts on Woody Allen being a molester? Just a thought. A little perspective goes a long way.
