This is a bit of a weird one, but considering Charlie Sheen‘s name’s in the headline, you’re probably not at all surprised there. Here’s the deal: John Mayer apparently bought $5 million worth of Rolex watches (as you do, apparently?), only to turn around and file a lawsuit against the broker responsible for the deal, Bob Maron, saying that some of the parts used in the watches were fake.
Now, Bob, of course, says that John knew that the watch parts were fake and specifically wanted them because of this, which doesn’t really make sense. But where does Charlie come in to this whole equation? Well, apparently John is only starting this because Bob convinced the staff of Rolling Stone to put Charlie on the cover instead of John.
Charlie Sheen says John Mayer’s lawsuit against famed watch broker Bob Maron has nothing to do with fake Rolexes … it’s all retribution because Charlie bumped John off the cover of “Rolling Stone.”
Charlie called in to “TMZ Live” and told us Mayer is using the watch thing to mask his bitter feelings toward Bob …ÃÂ who convinced “Rolling Stone” Charlie was a more worthy cover than John.
Charlie says it’s all petty celebrity jealousy.
This entire thing seems insane to me. The fact that Charlie thinks a situation that literally has nothing to do with him actually is completely about him shows you how off the rails he still is. Leave the drugs alone, Charlie.
