Actress Jennifer Connelly visited the set of Good Morning America this morning to promote her upcoming role in the Darren Aronofsky film, ‘Noah.’ The film, out on March 28th, is based on the well-known biblical story of a man who builds an enormous ark before the world is destroyed by a flood.
Connelly says of the film:
“Really, it’s true to the spirit of the story in the Bible,” the 43-year-old actress said of the movie.
“What you’ll find is that the controversy that was generated [was] by people who were speculating [and] hadn’t seen the film yet, for the most part,” Jennifer added. “We’re now getting feedback from religious leaders who have seen the film and are really embracing it and supporting it.”
Connelly stars in the film, along with Russell Crowe, playing Noah, and my own personal favorite, Emma Watson, who will be playing the wife of one of Noah’s sons. Connelly has another film coming out later this year, Shelter, which is written and directed by her husband, Paul Bettany.
