Jennifer Lopez Talks Marc Anthony Divorce

Jennifer Lopez is really laying it on thick in order to promote this season of American Idol. Before the season began, she talked in an interview about how much she doesn’t like being alone and now she is discussing her divorce from ex-husband Marc Anthony.

Mind you, Jennifer and Marc split up in July 2011 and divorced in 2012…so why this is news now is beyond us….but she really does love using her personal life as fodder for pushing interest in what she’s got going on professionally…. So here we are!

In a new interview with Glamour magazine, she said, “Back then the pain hurt so much, but I didn’t want what happened to finish me. I wanted it to help me grow for the better. I didn’t want to just survive it; I wanted to come out of it stronger than I was before. It took a lot of digging deep to do that. Right now I’d say it was the hardest thing I’ve ever been through, because of the kids.”

She went on to say, “When you’re this little scrappy girl and things happen, you just cry yourself to sleep. But when you’re responsible for two other human beings and their lives and emotional well-being, that’s a biggie. You’re constantly wondering, ‘Am I doing the right thing here?’”

Does knowing any of this make you want to tune into the show to watch her judging the talent?

I thought they were great together, but two big egos don’t go well together.
