Victoria Beckham lands the latest cover of Vanity Fair Italy, and in the magazine she revealed that a ‘Spice Girls’ reunion is never gonna happen.
“I won’t ever do it again,” the 39-year-old said in the cover interview for the February issue.
The Spice Girls — whose members also include Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm — split up in 2000, but came together to perform at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
While the mother-of-four said she was proud and honored to take part in the Olympics, it was the “perfect time to say, ‘That’s great. Thank you to everybody, but no more.'”
“Sometimes you’ve got to know when it’s time to leave the party,” she added.
But Beckham had praise for her former group and credited her music career with her present success.
“The Spice Girls were successful because we celebrated women,” Beckham said. “That’s why I do what I want today.”
What Beckham focuses on these days is her family with retired soccer star David Beckham and her eponymous fashion line, which is favored by fellow celebs from Beyoncé to Blake Lively to Kate Winslet.
I wonder what the other girls think about this. And never say never, Victoria. Money ALWAYS talks.
