Think sexy thoughts, especially if you’re LeAnn Rimes!
The singer (or should I say, twitterer?) was overcome with emotion at the Dec. 9 American Country Awards, where she performed a medley of songs in tribute to the late Patsy Cline. Her performance ended in tears, but she admits that she would have broken down sooner if she didn’t have sex on the brain!
The 31-year-old singer revealed that she’d been thinking about sex in an effort to keep from totally loosing it!
“It was intense…and about halfway through ‘Crazy,’ you see people start to cry, and then you’re like, ‘Oh my God,'” Rimes said of her performance, which included renditions of several Cline hits, including “If You Got Leaving on Your Mind,” “Walkin’ After Midnight,” “Crazy,” and “Sweet Dreams of You.”
“My guitar player, he’s always giving me the tricks that work — [one is] always think about sex when you start to cry,” she shared. “I was thinking about sex a lot throughout the whole thing.”
Ultimately, though, she did end the medley tearfully.
“By the end of it, it was just such an emotional moment for me,” Rimes confessed to ET.
Aww! Finally, LeAnn seems like a human, and not just a boastful social media feud-fueler!
