Britney Spears is getting it together! Don’t know if it’s the new boyfriend, the new hair, or what, but she’s being very…cool these days.

According to varied reports by DigitalSpy and others, the pop icon was on her way inside a Los Angeles pharmacy when she overheard and then stumbled upon a homeless guy outside, begging for change.  Brit Brit sidetracked her pharm visit to grab 100 bucks from a nearby ATM, and promptly gave the 5 twenties to the aforementioned homeless man!

So nice, right?

The kind moment immediately turned dramatic, however!  The  man was so shocked and thankful that he picked up Britney and gave her a gigantic hug, causing her to scream. The outburst brought out the pharmacy’s security guard, who thought the man was assaulting Brit Brit.  The security guard demanded the man give Britney back her money before Britney explained what was happening, and the whole thing was resolved!

Of course, the homeless guy was just incredibly thankful, and showing his thankfulness in an odd- but adorable- gesture!
