IT’S FINALE TIME!! Woot woot!!! I am both happy and sad it’s finale time. I have LOVED this season of ‘Top Chef.’ I enjoy ‘Top Chef’ so much more than I do the other ones – like ‘Top Chef Masters’, etc. So I’m sad to see it go! But who’s excited to find out who wins!!

Last night was Part 1 of the ‘Top Chef’ finale, and that means that Season 10 is almost a wrap. (Insert sniffles) We FINALLY found out who won Last Chance Kitchen! Was it Josh? Did he redeem himself???

Sadly, no. Kristen is on a ROLL! That girl won AGAIN – and earned her spot back in the finale!!

This season of ‘Top Chef’ I really REALLY liked how they let each chef go home and rest for a while. Sheldon went back to Hawaii, while Brooke went back to Los Angeles. We got a glimpse into their everyday lives, and I really liked this whole segment of the show. We got to meet Sheldon’s wife and three adorable daughters, as well as Brooke’s husband and cutie son!

After their brief break at home, the chefs return to the ‘Top Chef’ kitchen to meet the chef who won Last Chance Kitchen. I think both Sheldon and Brooke were extremely nervous to learn that it was Kristen who would be facing off against them! Kristen has been slaying everyone!

The chef’s are whisked off to Tom’s restaurant, ‘Craft,’ where they will have to create a 3 course meal. Tom announces he’ll be in the kitchen with them, expediting the food.

And they’re off! The chefs run into Tom’s impressively stocked fridge to pick out their meats, and decide what on earth they’re going to cook for their three meals. Sheldon and Kristen both seem focused – ready to go. Brooke (again) seems very distracted, and can’t decide what she wants to cook.

Once the chefs all decide on their 3 courses, they’re off to cooking. Sheldon works on a soup, while Kristen works on sweetbreads (you couldn’t pay me).

Tom is yelling at everyone to HURRY UP!! and the one chef seeming to be struggling the most, is Brooke. Sheldon, Brooke and Kristen all cook away, and their 3 courses are served to a table of bloodhungry judges.

All of the judges agree that Sheldon was weak sauce on this challenge (pun intended). They feel like he didn’t “bring it” and they missed the old Sheldon. Brooke impressed as always, and Kristen did very well – considering she’s been out of the competition for a while.

After all is said and done – the shocking conclusion was – Sheldon is sent home!! I was really pulling for him, I liked him from the beginning! His sweet smile, how could you not love his face!

So it looks like it’s down to Brooke and Kristen. Has there ever been a ‘Top Chef’ finale where it’s just two women at the end? I am SO excited to see who pulls through – and honestly, I think I’m rooting for Brooke!
