Ben Affleck, Emma Stone and Bradley Cooper crawled into bed together for the latest cover of Vanity Fair. The cover, shot by Bruce Weber, is part of the photographer’s Hollywood Edition. The 19th-annual Hollywood issue also features Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Amy Adams, Olivia Wilde, Kerry Washington, Jonah Hill, Selena Gomez, Alan Arkin and the youngest-ever Academy Award nominee, Quvenzhané Wallis.
Affleck, here in a bear suit, and Cooper, in a gorilla costume, are both nominated for Academy Awards (Feb. 24) — Affleck’s film “Argo” is up for Best Picture, and Cooper is nominated for Best Actor for his role in “Silver Linings Playbook.”
Also in the issue: Quincy Jones and three of his beautiful daughters: Rashida, Kidada, and Kenya; Les Misérables’ Eddie Redmayne and Dark Shadows’ Bella Heathcote dancing with a bear; And since the cover promises “lots of four-legged friends” there are tiger cubs galore and even Tai the elephant makes a cameo.
“There’s an intimacy to these images that shows that Hollywood isn’t just about glamour,” states Vanity Fair. “This year’s portfolio is a celebration of the friendships that thrive among the people who call it home.”
The cover is strange, to me. You have these three amazing actors, and this is the best idea you can come up with? Either way, I can’t wait to see the rest of the issue!
