Jennifer Hudson Thinks American Idol Should End!

Jennifer Hudson has a strong opinion on American Idol…and if she had it her way, the show would END!
As you know, Jennifer Hudson is practically A list: an Oscar-winning actress, a successful solo artist and glamorous spokesmodel. In 2004, however, Huds was just a young Chicago kid looking to do well on Fox’s third season of American Idol. Am I right?
Still, she’s got a lot of ties to Idol, and thinks the show should really say goodbye while it’s on top:
“Everything has its time,” she told Celebuzz at Hennessy VS’ event for her film, The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete in Los Angeles. “I think it should just allow itself to go out on top… and gracefully.”
Hudson, 31, ultimately placed seventh on her season, but who cares. She won an OSCAR…consider her career launched!
“American Idol changed the face of television,” she told us. “So, not everyone can say that. And, it’s always been a phenomenon. I’m proud to have come from American Idol, so I just say, go out on top.”
Strong words. What do you think the fate of American Idol should be?!

I can agree with Jennifer Hudson feeling American Idol should end but then again it’s been a great show. I think if they can freshen up some things it could continue to attract viewers. This happens to be one of the shows I enjoy watching. I watch all types of shows on primetime thanks to my DISH Hopper DVR which offers me the PrimeTime Anytime feature. This allows me to get all four major networks recorded every night on one TV. I work at night so I never get to see what’s going on with primetime which always left a mess of shows recording. I would tie up all my DVRs trying to record my shows, and the family would be stuck watching recordings. This all came to an end when I upgraded from my employer DISH to get the PrimeTime Anytime feature. No more timer or recording conflicts which let me and the family enjoy TV.
