Taylor Swift is the original NICE GIRL! And now, it’s official...

According to Dosomething.org, Taylor Swift has been named the most charitable celebrity of 2012! This is mostly due to her hugely generous donation of $4 million dollars to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, but also because she was the youngest-ever recipient of the Robert. F Kennedy Ripple of Hope Award.

(Does that have anything to do with Conor Kennedy? Jury’s still out on that one…)

Still, we believe in Swift and think she’s definitely worthy of the title.  But she’s not the only one working tirelessly for her chosen charitable cause.  Channing Tatum and Miley Cyrus both worked hard to save the rainforest and for dog rescue, respectively! And the Biebs squeeze Selena Gomez worked at children’s hospitals all over America and raised $200,000 at her annual UNICEF concert.

Charlie Sheen, despite being nuts, was also pretty generous this year… Lindsay Lohan aside,  the Winner gave $75,000 towards the medical bills of a ten-year-old girl with cancer, and his donation was then bested by Stevie Wonder, who gave $100,000. Comedian Louis CK and Lady Gaga topped the list of Sandy celebrity donators, giving money to the Red Cross to help the hurricane relief effort.

Celebs, we applaud you!
