Courtney Love “Not Amused” By Paul McCartney’s Nirvana Performance

Did you hear that Nirvana reunites tonight in NYC…with Sir Paul McCartney replacing Kurt Cobain on vocals? Courtney Love certainly did!
Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic are reuniting as Nirvana to play the 12-12-12 benefit concert at Madison Square Garden, which will be their first show together in 20 years! Because of Cobain’s absence, the handsome fab four alum will step in on vocals. Love told TMZ that she is “not amused” about Paul’s involvement.
Courtney is clearly much more of a Lennon fan than a McCartney fan, because she then added, “Look, if John were alive it would be cool.”
Ouch. She’s pissed because Love thinks that it isn’t really a Nirvana reunion without Cobain (and I can get on board with that), and trying to replace him is just plain ridiculous. Still, Love is the queen of drama, so I’m sure she was honored to get her two cents in.
