I can’t believe I’m about to say this, but does this Tom Cruise movie actually look GOOD? It’s been quite some time since I’ve really loved a Tom Cruise movie. I guess I did enjoy the last ‘Mission Impossible’, but other than that it’s been a stretch. Don’t even get me started on his new movie, ‘Jack Reacher’. Here he is at the premiere in London. THAT MOVIE – looks like a hot mess. I won’t even waste your time by putting that preview in this post. Instead, I give you ‘Oblivion’ – Tom’s NEXT movie, after this one goes away. ‘Oblivion’ actually looks half decent, if the preview is any indication.

Okay, I just noticed Tom Hardy was at the ‘Jack Reacher’ premiere too! Yeah buddy! The rest of the pictures in this post will be devoted to him.

Cruise’s nostalgic character Jack Harper, fitted in a Yankees cap, goes on to tell us that while earth’s inhabitants won a battle that happened 60 years prior, the war left much of the planet destroyed. As a result, “everyone’s been evacuated, and nothing human remains.”

Harper’s part of a “mop-up crew” of drone repairmen with just two weeks to go before his mission was complete. But while he’s out scavenging, Harper’s taken by an underground group of rebels seemingly led by a cigar-smoking Morgan Freeman. It isn’t long before he also discovers a group of apparent humans in pods, which includes one woman who mysteriously knows his name.

Directed by “TRON: Legacy” helmer Joseph Kosinski, “Oblivion” is expected to open on April 19.

Oh, and Rosamund Pike was at the premiere. She looks gorgeous, but no more gorgeous than Tom HARDY. So he gets all of my attention.
