Jessica Biel, Gerard Butler and Uma Thurman were all on hand last night to promote their latest movie, ‘Playing for Keeps’. I’ve seen the movie, and I feel slightly bad with how much I’m trashing it on Facebook. When there are SO MANY other great movies out there, I feel like it’s my duty to steer you away from the bad movies. If you’ve got a night out, and want to spend the money seeing a movie, go see ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ instead. Seen it? Try ‘Life of Pi’. Come back to me later if you need more suggestions.

I saw ‘Playing for Keeps’ at an early screening, and the only good thing I can say about it is I’m glad I didn’t pay for it. Not true, I can say Uma Thurman has insane skin – and golden hair (it literally shines like gold). Anyhoo, I seriously hated this movie. Jessica Biel has little-to-no personality onscreen. Romantic comedies are CERTAINLY not her cup of tea. Maybe she should stick to the kick-ass-action movies that don’t require much emotion from her. Speaking of romantic comedies, why on earth does Gerard Butler keep getting cast in them? Sure he’s good looking, but he is as sexy as a wet fish in this movie. His personality is so dull, you honestly couldn’t care less if Gerard and Jessica end up together at the end. (You’ll be shocked by absolutely NOTHING in this film. I knew the ending five minutes into it.)

Anyway, the show must go on, and Jessica and Gerard are required to step out and promote the film.

Jessica wore this Versace dress, and when I first saw it I thought it was really ugly. But the more I look at it, I’m thinking maybe it’s not as ugly as I first thought? What do you think?
