James Franco directed a music video for R.E.M., and it stars none other than Lindsay Lohan! The video, titled “Blue”, features Franco himself in drag, and Lindsay Lohan posing at the Chateau Marmont.

Apparently this video is part of R.E.M’s Collapse Into Now Film Project, which allows 12 different directors to create videos for their 12 new tracks. I’m not sure what I think about the video…. a bit too jerky for my taste. As for Lindsay, well, she looks like she’s playing herself, which is about all she can do anymore – if you ask me.
