Robert Pattinson hates his own nickname! Ahhh!

Turns out, RPatz hate when people call him RPatz!  Which makes me feel extremely guilty for making all those RPatz shout outs in…pretty much every post I’ve ever written about the guy. When Robert appeared on The Today show Wednesday, he addressed the nickname head on:

“I don’t understand what the nickname culture is,” he told TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie . “If I could figure out a way to get rid of that, it’d be amazing. It does sound like an antacid tablet.”

Aw, it isn’t that bad, Robert! And after all, you’re uber-famous, and uber-famous people need catchy paparazzi names.  Do you think that Pattinson will embrace his nickname now that the Twilight series is ending, and he’s moving down other paths, professionally?
