Ariel Winter‘s mom is denying the abuse claims that is rocking celebrity news this week!

Yesterday Winter’s mom, Chris Workman, completely denied allegations that she abused her daughter, who has a restraining order against her and has moved in with her older sister, Shanelle Gray. Claims include “ongoing physical abuse (slapping, hitting, pushing) and emotional abuse (vile name-calling, personal insults about minor and minor’s weight, attempts to ‘sexualize’ minor, deprivation of food, etc.) for an extended period of time,” according to the court report.

Workman, however, has issued a statement saying that it’s all untrue.  “I have my doctor’s letter that my daughter’s never been abused. … I have stylists’ letters that she’s never been abused.”

Well, abuse or not…let’s let a trial hash it out.  Poor Ariel!
