Here’s Taylor Swift on the cover of this month’s Cosmopolitan magazine!ÃÂ I’m not sure if I like it or not- it’s definitely a different look for Tay Tay, but it seems a little sexified but also deer-in-the-headlights..hmmm..
The interview, however, I’m on board with. She talks love, her new (and VERY popular album, Red) and life!
What lyrics resonate you off of your new album? I have a chalkboard in my house in L.A., and every week, Iââ¬â¢ve been writing a new lyric on it from the record just to figure out which ones pop out to me, which seem most important. Thereââ¬â¢s a song thatââ¬â¢s the first track on the record, and it says, ââ¬ÅLove is a ruthless game unless you play it good and right.ââ¬Â Thatââ¬â¢s been my whole philosophy on love this whole time anyway.
How do you feel about playing “hard to get?”:I think a lot of times when you meet someone you feel like you need to appear like youââ¬â¢re not interested in them so that theyââ¬â¢ll be more interested in you. But what happens when you start showing him that you actually like him? Whatââ¬â¢s he gonna do then? Play the tape forward; how do you keep a guy like that? I donââ¬â¢t want to sign up for that.
What are other moves you don’t tolerate? I canââ¬â¢t deal with someone wanting to take a relationship backward or needing space or cheating on you. Itââ¬â¢s a conscious thing; itââ¬â¢s a common-sense thing. If I was in that situation, if I were them, would I be doing this to me? Would I ever do this to them? If the answer is no, then theyââ¬â¢re not treating me fairly. I just donââ¬â¢t ever want to end up in a relationship that isnââ¬â¢t fair ever again.
