Usher Buys $12,000 Puppy!

Usher just bought a pet that’s worth more than my CAR.

Usher decided he was going to win the goldendoodle puppy that was being auctioned off for the Pencils For Promise fundraiser in NYC, and win the pup he did!  The pooch was being auctioned to raise funds for the charity, which builds schools in Laos, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Ghana.

At last year’s gala event, the singer tried to bid on another puppy at the auction, but was outbid by a family who eventually named the pooch…Usher! Love it!

This year, the musician was  determined to win the auction, but his initial bid of $10,000 was topped by fellow gala attendee Jessica Szhor.  Usher was not to be dissuaded, however: he eventually took home the dog for 12,000 dollars!  SCORE!  $12,000 won’t break the bank for the guy, but come ON!
