Channing Tatum’s Ex-Stripper Pals Are Pissed!

Two ex-male strippers are claiming Channing Tatum‘s new flick, Magic Mike, is a slap in the face!
Thomas “Awesome” Austin and London Steele both worked with Tatum back when he was a stripper in Florida, and claim Magic Mike uses their stories and many events from their lives. Two notable things that the two say Tatum took liberties with: the “hot seat,” a move Austin said he made up, and the name “Magic Mike,” a moniker coined by Austin for one of his fellow strippers.
Austin and Steele say that their male dance buddies are a like a “brotherhood.” While they’re happy for Channing’s success, they feel betrayed by the actor for not involving any of them in the film or even consulting with them, TMZ says.
I understand what they’re saying. Channing was not only an actor but acted as a producer on Magic Mike, so he had a large hand in how the film shaped up. Also, he only stripped for about 1/2 a year- that’s not a long time, or a film’s worth of stories, am I right?
