What the heck is Claire Danes wearing at last night’s Time 100 event?

I saw these pictures earlier this morning, and in a thumbnail, Claire Danes looks amazing. But when I saw the pictures in their full size, I’m wondering what the heck she’s wearing.  Celebitchy said it best, when they described the dress as “made of material that can only properly be described as resembling a Fruit Roll Up.”

She is gorgeous, but this Lanvin dress has got to go! (Also, that necklace is dreadful.) Her hair and makeup look flawless, however!
