Actor Adam Scott (‘Parks and Recreation’) stopped by the Rachael Ray Show to chat about the ways parenthood has changed him and to dish on his new movie ‘Friends with Kids‘.  The full interview airs on Friday, March 9th.  A peek:

Adam and his wife dropped out of society after having a baby:

“It changes only about like 100%. We kind of dropped out of society for 6 months. We had no idea what a big job It was, of course the most rewarding job. It’s terrific I wouldn’t trade t for anything, but we kind of lost touch with all of our friends.”

Adam doesn’t get out of the house much:

“The balance has sort of gone back and our social lives have come back a little bit, but all of a sudden now we’re old people where we just don’t leave the house.”

Adam will watch his movies:

“I’m ok watching myself if it’s not terrible. If it’s terrible then I have nightmares for weeks about it.”

Adam on co-star Amy Poehler:

“I think Amy is the funniest person in the world. It is tough getting through a scene sometimes because she is hilarious.”

Adam credits his talent to the people he works with:

“One thing I’ve done right, I’ve ensconced myself with these ensembles that make me seem much more talented than I am.”
