Celebrity dad Mark Wahlberg is trying to teach his oldest kids a lesson: don’t get tattoos.ÃÂ Mark shared that he’s in the process of removing all of his tattoos and has been taking Ella and Michael along to witness the painful procedure.
ââ¬Å[All the tattoos] have meaning to me, but itââ¬â¢s both personal and professional.
I donââ¬â¢t want my kids getting tattoos. And I wanted them to be [removed] by the time I did The Fighter because putting make-up on and covering them up has always been a pain in the butt.ââ¬Â
Iââ¬â¢ve taken my two older kids to the procedure so they see how painful it is and what I have to go through,ââ¬Â he reveals.
Mark also says that he’s hoping none of his kids catch the acting bug:
ââ¬ÅI donââ¬â¢t want my kids to be in the entertainment business either, which is why Iââ¬â¢m trying to build a lot of [separate] businesses.ààIf they feel [passionate about acting], and thatââ¬â¢s the decision they want to make, then Iââ¬â¢ll support them. But Iââ¬â¢ll do everything I can to point them in another direction.ââ¬Â
It’s funny how most celebrity parents are adamant that they don’t want their own kids getting into showbiz.ÃÂ I’m sure their own parents felt the same way.
Here’s Mark attending a photocall for ‘Contraband’ in Sydney this afternoon.
