Lindsay Lohan will be hosting Saturday Night Live on March 3, and according to TMZ is was all Lindsay’s idea.

Sources tell TMZ she has always felt ‘SNL’ creator Lorne Michaels has been very fatherly towards her over the years. Lindsay has always loved doing the show, and feels now is the right time to host again.

Considering Lindsay’s community service is about to end, she reached out to Lorne and asked him to consider her for the show again. He said yes, and they settled on the date… March 3.

Lindsay’s hoping to remind people that above all else, she is an actress.
