Who would have thought that ‘Brat Pack’ member Anthony Michael Hall didn’t like the legendary moniker that has followed him for the last 25 years. For those of you too young to remember, Anthony starred in classic John Hughes 1980s films like ‘Sixteen Candles,’ ‘The Breakfast Club’ and ‘Weird Science,’ and during an interview with Dave Nadelberg for the Sundance channel’s ‘The Mortified Sessions,’ he explains the origin of the name and why he doesn’t understand how he got caught up in such “an annoying label.”

“It was a New York Magazine article, and they sat a bunch of actors down at dinner and they got them drunk and they got them talking about themselves. I wasn’t even included in the article, and it just became the cover story slogan, and it has nothing to do with anything,” he said.

The article, “Hollywood’s Brat Pack,” written by David Blum, is still available online in the magazine’s archives, and is fascinating to re-read given the cultural phenomenon it gave birth to. The piece focused on Judd Nelson, Emilio Estevez and Rob Lowe, and described them as “a roving band of famous young stars on the prowl for parties, women, and a good time.” Despite not being mentioned in the article, Hall’s roles in Hughes’ zeitgeist-capturing movies made him an honorary member in the public consciousness anyway.

Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz recently bragged about he and Ashlee Simpson‘s 3-year-old son Bronx who has already started exploring his musical gifts, saying that the little toddler already has his share of instruments and favorite artists.

“Bronx has a drum set and a giant keyboard – and he sang in his school’s holiday show. He’s a big Bob Marley fan!”

“Sometimes I feel music inspires life,” he reflects. “Everyone has their own soundtrack.”

Coming from a family of musicians on both sides definitely helps little Bronx in his mini-rock star life. Too adorable!

There’s no telling on whether or not pop singer Kelly Rowland will be returning as a judge on the ‘X Factor UK’ next season, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a new job on the horizon. The former Destiny’s Child member is set to release her own set of watches next year with TW Steel, acting as their worldwide ambassador.

Luxury watch company TW Steel has Kelly Rowland as a worldwide ambassador, with her own signature timepieces to come in the new year. The former Destiny’s Child singer shares with In Touch her excitement about her new stylish job, “This is so exciting especially when you naturally become a fan of the brand which is what happened here.” Kelly added, “I think every woman should definitely rock a TW Steel…especially the way we are going to design in the new year… It’s going to be so, so sexy, so stylish, so next level. I love it!”

I still say it’s just a matter of time before she joins the ranks and releases a fragrance.

Last month, many cast members from the hit 90s television show ‘Fresh Prince of Bel Air’ reunited for a dinner and were snapped together, all smiles, enjoying catching up so many years after the show ended. Though there were a few members missing, no one was surprised that the original ‘Aunt Viv,’ Janet Hubert, wasn’t included in the festivities. For years Janet has blamed Will Smith for her being fired from the show, and she hasn’t been quiet about it. It’s been 15 years and Janet is still angry about how she was dismissed from the series.

“There will never be a reunion … as I will never do anything with an a**hole like Will Smith,” Hubert said.

She adds, “He is still an egomaniac and has not grown up. This constant reunion thing will never ever happen in my lifetime unless there is an apology, which he doesn’t know the word.”

But Smith refuted the claims after Hubert left the show in 1993 — telling an Atlanta radio station Hubert simply had a bad attitude which played a major role in her demise.

Smith told the radio station, “[Hubert] said once, ‘I’ve been in the business for 10 years and this snotty-nosed punk comes along and gets a show.’ No matter what, to her I’m just the AntiChrist.”

Kris Humphries can’t catch a break, seeing as how his first time back on the basketball court was met with a crowd of boos and jeering from fans. If you think the teasing will slow down the NBA player, you’ve got another thing coming. He led his team to a victory over the Washington Wizards on Monday night, with the New Jersey Nets winning 90-84.

“To me, it’s motivation,” said Humphries after the game in Washington, The Record reports. “People are yelling at you, you know you have to go and perform, go and play hard.”

Which is fine with coach Avery Johnson, especially if it lifts Humphries to a night like Monday’s, with 21 points and 16 rebounds.

“I’m trying to figure it out – what did he do?” says Johnson. “I’m serious. Maybe because I don’t follow reality TV. I don’t know all the ins and outs of it, but it’s pretty hilarious to me. I don’t know if they even know why they’re booing him.”

Soul and R&B singer John Legend has decided to put a ring on it after years of dating his IMG model girlfriend Chrissy Teigen.

The  ‘Ordinary People’ singer’s rep released a simple statement about the newly engaged couple, saying:

“John Legend and his girlfriend, model Chrissy Teigen, got engaged over the holidays while vacationing in the Maldives.”

Though the rep didn’t give an further details about how the 32-year-old popped the question, it is known that he does have big Las Vegas plans this weekend — it’s not all pleasure, however. John will be taking the stage at the Palms Hotel and Casino at their illustrious venue The Pearl.
