One of Lady Gaga’s biggest fears is dying the same way Princess Diana did.

According to The Sun, a source close to the ‘Born This Way’ singer revealed that she sees herself as a “pop version” of the beloved princess who died in a car crash while being chased by photographers in France in 1997.

According to the source, Gaga – who has penned a track inspired by Diana’s death – often has dreams in which she is killed in the same way because of her fame and the constant media attention she receives.

They said: “Gaga has always been absolutely fixated on Diana and sees herself as a 21st-century incarnation of her. She knows she is almost as recognisable as Diana and is hounded by photographers and fans on the same level.”

They went on to add: Gaga has had dreams about dying the same way as her and has genuine fears that her fame could literally kill her, either in a chase or at the hands of crazies.

Earlier this week (December 7), Lady Gaga revealed that she had chosen a name for a new album and had already started working on the LP, despite only releasing her last album ‘Born This Way’ in May this year.

She is reportedly planning a duet with Elton John for the album, and is expected to announce a mammoth world tour to take place in 2012, which will consist of a record-breaking 450 dates over two years.

I’m not sure how I feel about Gaga writing a song about Princess Diana. I’m sure it will be EPIC.

I’m doing my best to change my opinion on Katherine Heigl. She needs a good movie – that would help. Unfortunately I don’t think ‘New Years Eve’ is it!

On not having a killer figure: “I was 20 pounds heavier and wanted to look like those girls with fantastically beautiful bodies like Jennifer Aniston or Jessica Alba, but I just couldn’t lose the weight. It’s only now that I realize how hard those girls work for their bodies, and what level of commitment they make to do that,” she says. The yoga, personal training sessions and painstakingly planned meal plans that make Aniston and Alba’s bods world-famous just aren’t for her, she explains. “I’m too lazy and I like food and I like my free time too much to spend it working out!”

What she would do if her husband cheated: “I’ve been debating this lately. Josh and I always said that cheating would be a deal breaker; there is no second chance. But I’ve seen friends and acquaintances go through it and they’ve found a way back to the relationship, and a way to forgive each other. And as much as I would kill him if he cheated because it would destroy me, I have started to question whether, if a mistake were to be made and it was a one-time thing, I would forgive him. Because look at the life we’ve built together. We have history, we have a child…But at the same time, it would be really hard to ever fully trust that person again.”

She’s mouthy: “Hollywood likes to label everyone so you’re easier to identify. I didn’t mind it; I got mouthy, the way a child does when you celebrate them for something. The mouthier I got, the more I’d be celebrated. I was like, ‘You think that’s outspoken? How about this…’ Then it bit me in the hand.”

On one night stands: “I don’t like them. I’ve never met a single woman who has ever walked away from a one-night stand and been like, ‘That was awesome! Oh, my god! Best ever!’”

You gotta feel for Khloe Kardashian. In the midst of her sister Kourtney being pregnant with her second child, and Kim going through a bitter divorce, Khloe’s making the tabloid covers – but this time for something more serious. Khloe has openly been aching for a baby. After trying to conceive on her own unsuccessfully, US Weekly claims that Khloe is about to start in vitro (if she hasn’t already).

Her sister Kourtney last week announced she is expecting her second baby with boyfriend Scott Disick. But although Khloe Kardashian has made no secret of her desire to start a family, there has been no baby joy so far in her two year marriage to basketball player Lamar Odom. And now, in a bid for that longed-for baby, Khloe has started preparing for in-vitro fertilisation treatment, according to magazine reports.

‘She is desperate for a baby with Lamar and will do whatever it takes,’ a friend of the couple tells Us Weekly magazine. ‘They have faith the IVF will work.’

Khloe, who looked ultra-glamorous as she stepped out in Los Angeles yesterday, is reported to have had several consultations about IVF treatment and is taking pre-natal vitamins. IVF costs around $10,000 to $15,000 per treatment.

A source close to the couple told the publication that Khloe and 32-year-old Lamar ‘have been trying everything to get pregnant but nothing works.’

And the news that Kourtney is expecting a brother or sister to son Mason, only highlighted the fact that Khloe is not yet pregnant herself.

‘She’s thrilled for Kourtney, but she’s really sensitive,’ another source said. ‘And it’s hard to see your sister get something you want so badly.’

The star is feeling under pressure to become pregnant. She told the magazine in the spring: ‘People keep saying “Why aren’t you pregnant yet?’ That’s what scares me, when people are like, “Did you go to the doctor? Do you know if everything’s working?” It’s nerve-racking. Sometimes I feel like I’m letting everyone down.’

The reality star is also stepmother to Lamar’s children from a previous relationship – 13-year-old Destiny and Lamar Jr, 10. Although the sports star’s children live in New York, Khloe has a good relationship with them and keeps in touch via Twitter.

She also ‘loves being an aunt’ to nephew Mason, two, and is often spotted carrying the youngster while filming the family’s many reality shows. The Kardashian and Jenner family have also lent their support to Khloe, with little sisters Kendall and Kylie also hoping for a niece of nephew.

‘They always say “You’ve got to have a baby. It’ll be so cute and tall, and we’ll babysit,” Khloe told Us. I’m like “You’ve got to get off my back.”‘

Even family matriarch Kris Jenner has had words of reassurance for her third daughter, despite once calling her daughters ‘stingy’ for not providing more grandchildren.

‘Maybe she thought I was having a bad day,’ Khloe recalled. ‘But she starts telling me that when she and Bruce first met, they were trying to have kids and it took her five years to get pregnant with Kendall. She was just like ‘With certain people, it just takes a minute.’

However, when or if Khloe and Lamar do have children, the star won’t be carrying on her mother’s tradition of names beginning with ‘K’. ‘I definitely want some L names,’ she admits.

Alec Baldwin is sounding off today after being kicked of an American Airlines flight yesterday. According to the airline, Alec was rude, abrasive, swearing at the flight attendant, and got up and slammed the bathroom door when the seatbelt light was on. Now, I know Alec is notoriously rude – but I’m finding myself siding with him on this one. I’ve been on waaaay too many flights with Stewardesses on some power trip. Read his open letter to American Airlines below.

First off, I would like to apologize to the other passengers onboard the American Airlines flight that I was thrown off of yesterday. It was never my intention to inconvenience anyone with my “issue” with a certain flight attendant.

I suppose a part of my frustration lay with the fact that I had flown American for over 20 years and was brand loyal, in the extreme. The ticketing agents and Admiral’s Club staff have always been nothing but abundantly helpful to me, as I have flown hundreds of thousands of miles with the one carrier.

My confusion began when the flight, already a half hour behind schedule, boarded, the door closed, and we proceeded to sit at the gate for another fifteen minutes. I then did what I have nearly always done and that was to pull out my phone to complete any other messaging I had to do before take off. In nearly all other instances, the flight attendants seemed to be unbothered by and said nothing about such activity, by me or anyone else, until we actually were pulling away from the gate.

In this case, while other people were still manipulating their own phones, this one employee singled me out to put my phone away. Afterward, we still sat at the gate. I pulled out my phone again, while others did the same. Again, I was singled out by this woman in the most unpleasant of tones. I guess the fact that this woman, who had decided to make some example of me, while everyone else was left undisturbed, did get the better of me.

However, I have learned a valuable lesson. Airlines in the US are struggling with fuel costs, labor costs, bankruptcies, you name it. It’s no secret that the level of service on US carriers has deteriorated to a point that would make Howard Hughes red-faced. Filthy planes, barely edible meals, cuts in jet service to less-traveled locations. One of the big changes, in my time, is in the increase of the post-9/11, paramilitary bearing of much of the air travel business. September 11th was a horrific day in the airline industry, yet in the wake of that event, I believe carriers and airports have used that as an excuse to make the air travel experience as inelegant as possible.

Most of the flight attendants I have ever encountered still have some remnant of the old idea of service. Add to that the notion that in this day and age, many people have a lot of important work to do, by phone, and would like to do so till the last possible minute. But there are many now who walk the aisles of an airplane with a whistle around their neck and a clipboard in their hands and they have made flying a Greyhound bus experience.

The lesson I’ve learned is to keep my phone off when the 1950′s gym teacher is on duty. That was my fault there, even though this trip was quite a bit different from so many others. But it is sad, I think, that you’ve got to fly overseas today in order to bring back what has been thrown overboard by US carriers in terms of common sense, style, and service.
