How I Met Your Mother’s Alyson Hannigan is pregnant!
On Thursday, the actress was photographed chatting on her cell phone in Santa Monica wearing jeans, a vest and thin red crocheted sweater — snug enough to reveal an undeniable baby bump.
“Alyson is thrilled to be pregnant!” a source close to the star tells Us Weekly. “She’s been wearing baggy clothes to cover the baby bump.”
Hannigan and husband Alexis Denisof are already parents to daughter Satyana, 2.

Actress Rose Mcgowan has launched a new awareness campaign about Pulmonary Fibrosis after losing her father to the deadly lung disease.
Rose’s dad, artist Daniel MCGowan, lost his battle with the illness two years ago (09) and now the actress is helping to give patients and their family members a voice as the Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis’ (Cpf) new ambassador.
In a post on her Facebook.com page on Friday (16Dec11), MCGowan confirms her new role, writing “My life was unalterably changed the day my father was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis (PF). He was my touchstone in life and once I realised that he was suffering from a disease that was 100% fatal, I found myself feeling utterly helpless and broken-hearted.
“It has taken me a great deal of time to begin to heal and I still shed tears at the most unexpected moments. He was taken at what seems to me a fairly young age of 61 – my heart was not ready to let him go.
“I am now in the fight to stop this horrible disease because you can’t change anything by bemoaning your fate or sitting on the sidelines. After dealing with this tough loss, I have determined that my course needs to be one of helping to stop the disease – my loss can be turned into a win for all those diagnosed with PF in the future… My decision to help the Cpf in their work to stop PF is my way of keeping my dad’s legacy alive and making a contribution to the world in his name.
“There are many causes that are better known, but watching the inexorable destruction that PF wreaks on the patient and their family and friends has convinced me of the urgency of this work. We are losing as many patients as breast cancer, but the investment in research for PF is minimal – it’s time for a change.”

Kim Kardashian joined her family, Kourtney, Khloe, Kylie, Kendall, Rob and mom, Kris Jenner, at the opening of the Kardashian Khaos boutique at the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas last night.
Kim told reporters on the red carpet that coming soon is Kim 2.0!
“I’m really thinking that 2011 was a lot of learning lessons,” Kim told Us of the past 12 months, which saw her get engaged, married and split from Kris Humphries. ’2012, I’m just excited for the New Year and the new me.”
Despite the sad, fast end of her marriage to Humphries, 26, the superstar insisted she hasn’t ruled out getting married for a third time. “I believe in love…always,” she said.
But she’s not on the prowl for a new man just yet. “I’m not looking,” she noted.
“The Kardashian family [will] gather to celebrate the grand opening of their brand new celebrity lifestyle boutique, Kardashian Khaos, inside the Mirage Hotel and Casino,” a publicist for the brand told The Huffington Post. “Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner will all attend.”
The family will be working on the Strip selling exclusive items as well as special made-to-order Las Vegas souvenirs.
“They are even bringing brother Rob Kardashian and Kourtney’s partner Scott Disick,” an insider said. “They are hoping that Lamar will attend, too, to show how united they are as a family, but will not know about this until the day before. This is a chance to show everyone that they are united as a family. They go through good times and bad times. But at the end of the day, family is what really counts.”
It certainly wouldn’t be the holidays if the Kardashians weren’t promoting one of their many brands.

Reese Witherspoon has just signed on to star in Atom Egoyan’s West Memphis Three drama ‘Devil’s Knot’.
The movie is based on investigative reporter Mara Leveritt’s 2003 book “Devil’s Knot: The True Story of the West Memphis Three,” which chronicled the prolonged murder trial of defendants Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelley Jr., who served 18 years in prison before being released in August. The trio were accused of killing Christopher Byers, Michael Moore and Stevie Branch, three 8-year-old boys who were found brutally murdered and hog-tied in a wooded area of West Memphis, Arkansas known as Robin Hood Hills.
Witherspoon will play Pam Hobbs, the mother of one of the victims. Hobbs originally believed that Echols, Baldwin and Misskelley murdered her son, but as the case dragged on and more details became available, she came to believe that the trio did not commit the heinous crime.
Production on the under-$20 million feature is expected to start in the summer.
I’ve been fascinated with the West Memphis Three for years. Their story is completely fascinating. I always kind of wondered if they were guilty or innocent – even now that they’ve been released, part of me still wonders if they got away with murder. Either way – I think Reese is perfect casting!
Awwww, classic Whoopi.
Whoopi “Cushion” Goldberg strikes again — tearing ass this morning on “The View” so loudly … she nearly put a hole in her seat.
Whoop doesn’t even attempt to hide it either, claiming, “Excuse me, I think I just blew a little frog outta there!” The guest on the show – Claire Danes — clearly has no idea what to do with herself.
It’s nothing new for the gas-woman — during an interview with Dr. Oz back in May, Whoopi admitted she farts all the time on her show. Gotta respect her honesty.
As my grandmother always told us, it’s better to bear the shame than the pain.

Timbaland has dominated the music scene for years, working with big names like Justin Timberlake, Missy Elliott and Dr. Dre.
Timbaland sat down with E!’s True Hollywood Story, and opened up about his past, which includes suicidal thoughts and a confession of falling in love with Aaliyah when she was only 12 years old.
“This will be the last time I talk and I’m going back into hibernation,” he says, before making some stunning revelations.
“When I first met Aaliyah—it time for the world to hear this, I’m gonna give a little secret—I was in love with her. I said, But I’m not…She just a baby, I’m old,” Timbaland says. “I said to myself, ‘I’m just gonna be her brother.’ Oh man, I was fightin’, I was fightin’ a lot—a big war. But I loved Aaliyah.”
He, of course, is referring to Aaliyah Dana Haughton, the soulful singer who signed a deal with Jive Records at age 12 and allegedly married R. Kelly at the age of 15, inspiring the song, “Age Ain’t Nothin but a Number.”
Aaliyah then collaborated with Timbaland and Missy Elliott for her second album, One in a Million. The “Try Again” singer became highly successful in the music biz and started to dip her toes in acting, starring in Queen of the Damned.
Tragically, in August 2001, Aaliyah died in a plane crash. She was just 22.
As if proclaiming your love for a younger woman so many years later wasn’t intense enough, Timbaland’s discussion turns to darker thoughts.
Back in 2003, confesses, Timbaland, “I was almost 400 pounds. Who wants to be a 400-pound black man? I’m looking in the mirror, my breast is bigger than a girl breast. And I was saying, ‘That ain’t cool.’ So I got very depressed, like suicidal depressed.”
But he managed to pull through and is now happily married to his wife, Monique.
“It’s probably hard to be married to me,” he says. “It’s not easy. I’m a musical genius. I’m weird, I do crazy things, it’s not like the average norm. But I’m a loving guy.”
For the rest of this interview, tune into E!’s True Hollywood Story, Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
The admission about Aaliyah was prooooooooobably better left unsaid. It’s hard for me to imagine “falling in love” with a 12 year old. It’s harder for me to imagine why anyone would admit it out loud. And I had completely forgotten that R. Kelly married her when she was only 15!!! He makes Doug Hutchison (who married 16-year-old Courtney Stodden) look like a saint!
