Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian grace the January 2012 cover of Glamour Magazine. In these pictures, they toned down Kim’s plastic face, which is nice…. but Khloe looks – worse? I don’t know – these certainly aren’t her best pictures. It just points out how incredibly different she looks than her sisters!

The pictures were taken before Kim’s divorce bombshell was dropped in October, but the interview took place after.

Kim Kardashian: …I think I’ll always be a hopeless romantic.
Glamour: What do you mean by that?
Kim Kardashian: It means that I believe in love and the dream of having a perfect relationship, but my idea of it has changed. I think I need to not live in a fairy tale like that. I think I maybe need to just snap out of it and be a little more realistic.
Khloé Kardashian: I love Kim’s belief in love and the fact that she feels so strongly about it. She has that dream every girl has.
Kim Kardashian: Well, I don’t think I have it right now.
Khloé Kardashian: Which is fine, but I’m your sister and I know why you don’t have it right now. But I know you will get it again.
Kim Kardashian: I hope I do. But by then I hope maybe I’m a little bit more realistic.

Glamour: Realistic about what?
Kim Kardashian: The fact that what I want isn’t possible.
Khloé Kardashian: What, a guy on a white horse coming to get you? That doesn’t happen!
Kim Kardashian: I don’t know. I always wanted what Mom and Dad had. And at first I was like, I want six kids. Then I went down to four, then I was down to three…and now I’m like, maybe I won’t have any. Maybe I’ll just be a good aunt.
Khloé Kardashian: But Mom and Dad got a divorce, and she met Bruce. And you were a child; you don’t know what Mom and Dad had. As an outsider looking in, it probably looked like paradise.
Kim Kardashian: At this moment in my life, I feel like maybe I’m not supposed to have kids and all that.
Khloé Kardashian: Oh my God. Don’t be dramatic all of a sudden!
Kim Kardashian: That’s how I feel. Maybe my fairy tale has a different ending than I dreamed it would. But that’s OK.

Don’t you just love how Kim is broken now? She no longer has the fairy tale dream anymore? Now she may not have any kids, she may just be an old maid. It’s obvious this interview was done right after all this crap went down. The interview is just annoying, if you ask me.

Page Six also points out that Kim’s marriage/divorce drama has boosted the ratings for Kourtney and Kim Take New York – the show “drew 3.2 million viewers in its second-season debut Sunday, up 6 percent from the first-season premiere.” Sources tells Page Six that Kim “can’t bear watching the footage of her and Kris fighting… It is very hard for her to watch. It forces her to relive what went wrong in her marriage.” Kim and Kris Humphries are still not talking – “They are only communicating through lawyers. They won’t become friends, but they are not enemies.” And Kris Humphries believes the show has been edited to make him look like a monster – “It is completely staged. He went from being sweet and playful to verbally abusive and mean-spirited. It is no coincidence that Kris Jenner is an executive producer. They are doing this to save Kim’s career.” An E! rep told Page Six: “Completely false.”

Bradley Cooper is not only People’s Sexiest Man Alive, but he’s also quite the ladies man. He has cozied up to a ton of A-List celebs, including Renee Zellweger, Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Lopez (and those are just the ones that come to the top of my mind!).

Anyway, Bradley was spotted last night in Paris with Melanie Laurent. Melanie is an French actress, who starred in ‘Inglorious Basterds’ (she played Shoshanna). If you never saw the movie, you might recognize her as the woman who reportedly had an affair with a married Ewan McGregor. Back when word broke that Ewan and Melanie were having an affair (in Feb ’10), this story hit the web:

Although Melanie failed to snare Angie’s mate, Brad Pitt when the two worked on Inglourious Basterds, Melanie has now set her sights on married dad of three, Ewan McGregor.

The duo, who finished shooting the drama Beginners in December, left a Paris eatery hand in hand on February 9.

“Melanie was snuggling up to Ewan,” says an observor. “They were very tender with each other.”

Another insider says Ewan’s 15 year marriage to Eve is no obstavle for Melanie: “Melanie is shameless. She flirted with Brad constantly during filming and was extremely touchy-feely. He didn’t give in to her – but it looks like Ewan is hardly pushing her away!”

There are pictures of the couple getting very cozy. Even if they weren’t cheating, whatever they WERE doing was completely inappropriate (picture).

From my pictures source – it says Bradley and Melanie saw a movie in Paris with a group of friends. After the movie Brad and Melanie headed off on their own and grabbed a bite to eat.

So clearly, they’re dating.

Yesterday it was announced that Maggie Gyllenhaal is pregnant with her second baby! She and husband Peter Sarsgaard already have a daughter together, 5-year-old Ramona, pictured below.

Lady Gaga is everywhere this holiday season. She’s gracing the cover of Vanity Fair AND Elle UK this month, and there are a lot of pictures coming forth from both magazines. When I get some better pictures from her Vanity Fair spread – I’ll post them! Here are some pictures – plus a bit from the interview!

Lady Gaga gets candid with Vanity Fair about her history with relationships: “I have never felt truly cherished by a lover. I have an inability to know what happiness feels like with a man,” the singer tells contributing editor Lisa Robinson. “I say this honestly, and this is my new thing as of the past year: when I fight with someone I’m in a relationship with, I think, What would my fans think if they knew this was happening? How would they feel about my work and about me as a female if they knew I was allowing this to go on? And then I get out.”

Will her rumored romance with Vampire Diaries actor Taylor Kinney be a departure from this disappointing history? “I have this effect on people where it starts out good. Then, when I’m in these relationships with people who are also creative, or creative in their own way, what happens is the attraction is initially there and it’s all unicorns and rainbows. And then they hate me.”

But her creativity is the one thing she says she will not compromise on, no matter the cost to her romantic life. “Perhaps it’s a whose-dick-is-bigger contest. If I go to the piano and write a quick song and play it back, they are angry with how fast and effortless it is. That’s who I am, and I don’t apologize for it. But it’s a hideous place to be in when someone that you love has convinced you that you will never be good enough for anyone. I had a man say to me, ‘You will die alone in a house bigger than you know, with all your money and hit records, and you will die alone.’”

In these dark moments, Gaga tells Robinson, she has found meaning in her work: “Even though I know it sounds a bit Hallmark, whenever I [was] in that kind of stressful, worthless moment, I would think, I’ll show you.’” Gaga continues, “I think what it really is, is that I date creative people. And I think that what intimidates them is not my purse; it’s my mind.”

Gaga says the weird thing is, after she’s left a few people, they’ve asked her to marry them. “How f–kin’ romantic, you a–hole. Sure, pop a ring on my finger and make it all better. I can buy myself a f–kin’ ring.”

Robinson spends time on the set of Lady Gaga’s most raw and personal video to date, “Marry the Night.” It is “autobiographical,” according to Gaga, and required the grueling task of “getting ready to relive the worst day of my life.” She has never talked about it before. Prior to filming a hospital scene in which Gaga, appearing bruised and drugged up, is wheeled on a gurney into a women’s clinic, she asks Robinson and a few others in her trailer how far she should go with the re-enactment; she decides to commit to it fully.

“It’s chaotic and sad. But I don’t want it to be safe,” she says.

There are a lot of other interesting quotes floating around the web right now from either this interview or the Elle UK one. One of the ones that seems to keep getting repeated, is Gaga admitting what she looks for in a man. “It ranges from a really big d-ck to a degree at Harvard. Talent and perseverance and pushing the boundaries of love and acceptance.” While she may be looking for a man in the bedroom – she’s not looking for a husband. “I’m not ready to buy a house. It feels like marriage or something. It’s such a commitment, I don’t like it. I do love being with my parents but I also just really fear domestication. I just don’t have a home, I am 25 and buying a house feels a little weird. I actually sleep at my best friend Bo’s apartment a lot. She kicks her boyfriend on to the couch and it’s really funny. We stay up and watch movies.”

If I’m not running ICYDK – or Make Her Up, I’m raising two energetic boys and one busy dog. If I don’t actually schedule my shower into my day, it may not happen. I have to plan-ahead for just about everything in my life – because you throw something at me last minute, and I may crack!

And let’s not even begin to talk about the holidays. Christmas planning, and baking, and shopping – brings stress to a whole new level in me. So over the years I’ve had time to develop ways to cut corners with these time-saving tips!

Make a list – early!

• Several months before Christmas, I start eavesdropping on what my kids and family members want – or have interest in. Every year I start a note on either my phone or computer with every person’s name written on it. When a present idea pops into my head – I write it down next to their name. That way – when the time comes to buy presents – I know what I’m looking for!

Bargain Hunt!

• Gather your Sunday papers – and look online for those items on your list! Sooner or later – these items should go on sale! Go over your list several times each week – scan the web for sales on your top items!

Holiday Baking: Do it ahead of time!

• Feel like holiday baking? MOST items can be made ahead of time – and frozen! One of the best tips I have ever gotten – was freezing dough. Have an afternoon off? Make a bunch of sugar cookie dough, or maybe gingerbread dough – roll it into cylinders – wrap it in saran wrap – and freeze it! When you’re ready to bake, unwrap your dough, cut into 1/2″ thick rounds and let thaw on a cookie sheet. Bake like normal! (See below for my ULTIMATE sugar cookie frosting!)

Plan a wrapping party with your girlfriends!

• Hate wrapping presents? One year my girlfriends and I planned a wrapping party! We each compiled our presents – along with our wrapping paper, tape and bows, and we made a night of it! We had a couple bottles of wine, and made a girls night out of a tedious project!

Holiday Decorating

• Spend some money – buy some good tubs. Put all of your decorations away in a good place every year, and it makes decorating a cinch! Put your living room decorations in one tub – your family room decorations in another. Keep all your lights nicely wrapped – not mangled together in a box. The nicer you put things away this year, the nicer it will be opening those tubs next year. Keep everything tidy – it saves so much time!

Much more than anything else, enjoy yourself! The holidays are about family, and being together. Cut corners – and save time where you can. This frees up so much more time to be with the ones that you love!

Want to spoil your family this year? Make your sugar cookie dough ahead (like wrote earlier). After cooking and cooling your cookie – use this frosting…TRUST ME. I call it Jocelyn’s Frosting – because this is a recipe I’ve created after years and years of tinkering. In my opinion, this is the best sugar cookie frosting in existence!

Jocelyn’s Buttercream Frosting

• 2 cubes unsalted butter
• 4 cups powdered sugar
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1 tsp. pure vanilla
• 3 fluid ounces of whipping cream
• Desired food coloring

Spread on cooled cookies! Enjoy!!
