Now that the official announcement of Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore‘s divorce has been made public, a source reveals to PEOPLE that the pair were constantly fighting, and that was the main reason why they decided to end their 6-year marriage.

“Ashton is unhappy; [Demi]‘s unhappy. It just got to a point where they had to end it.”

“The fighting could get pretty intense. Whatever counseling they did was fine for a quick fix but could not get to the heart of the problem.”

Filmmaker Tyler Perry has been taking a lot of heat lately over not only casting Kim Kardashian for his upcoming film currently in production, The Marriage Counselor, but because he has kept her on in spite of what the public feels was a mockery of the institution of marriage.

Hip hop mogul Jay-Z is about to be a first time dad, and this new milestone has him thinking about his own upbringing and how his father walked out on him when he was 11-years-old. Expecting a little girl with wife Beyonce in February, he admitted that he’s “a little paranoid” about bringing a child into the world.

“I don’t think any person or male goes into a relationship thinking they aren’t going to be there,” he said. “You just never know.”

“If your dad died before you were born, yeah, it hurts, but it’s not like you had a connection with something that was real. Not to say it’s any better, but to have that connection and then have it ripped away was, like, the worst. My dad was such a good dad that when he left, he left a huge scar. He was my superhero.”

Jay reunited with his father back in 2003, but he really didn’t get any of the answers he was looking for.

“[I talked about] what it did to me, what it meant, asked him why. There was no real answer. There was nothing he could say, because there’s no excuse for that. There really isn’t,” he said. “So there was nothing he could say to satisfy me, except to hear me out. And it was up to me to forgive and let it go.”

Even though accuser Mariah Yeater has recently been exposed to have possibly been trying to extort money from Justin Bieber and has dropped her paternity suit against him, the teen singer says that he intends to push forward with the DNA test to prove he is not her son’s father.

Kris Humphries is moving forward from his 72-day marriage, and is now that the NBA lockout is in full effect, the baller is looking to make some money, seeing as how his part in the Kardashian empire is coming to a close. The pre-nup keeps Kris from getting any of his ex-wife’s holdings, but the 26-year-old just announced that he has a new deal with Sector watches.

The 1981 Natalie Wood case has been reopened, and the 30-year-old mystery is still just as puzzling as the day it made headlines. Natalie was on a boat with her husband Robert Wagner as well as actor Christopher Walken when she allegedly accidentally drowned, something that has never been proven otherwise. Now there is speculation that the key to solving the case is her wardrobe which may prove that she was in the water for hours before Robert called the police to report the drowning.

Marti Rulli — the author of the book that triggered cops to re-open the investigation into Wood’s death — performed a forensic test on down coats similar to Natalie’s … which proved a down jacket acts like a life preserver in water … “it will not sink, but instead remains floating.”

Rulli’s finding completely contradicts the opinion of the coroner in the case — who insisted the jacket would have sapped Natalie’s strength and weighed her down in the ocean.

Wood’s body was discovered in the ocean off Catalina Island — hours after she went missing from a cruise with her husband Robert Wagner and Christopher Walken.

Originally, law enforcement believed Wood slipped off the boat while trying to tie down a dinghy. But now, cops have doubts … after the captain revealed Wood and Wagner had been arguing intensely before she went missing.

The captain of the boat now says that Robert told the crew not to call the Coast Guard to help search for Natalie after they all realized that she had gone missing.
