Kim Richards’ erratic behavior finally explained?
Ever since this season of ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ started, everyone wondered what the heck Kim Richards was on – smoking – or drinking.
To be honest, I couldn’t figure out what it was – but it was obvious that she was indeed – off her rocker. (I leaned mostly towards alcohol.)
The kooky blonde was seen doing a consultation with Adrienne Maloof‘s husband, Dr. Paul Nassif, where she revealed she was taking Lexapro, Trazadone and Topamax.
Lexapro is used to treat anxiety, Trazadone is an antidepressant and Topamax is an anti-seizure medication which can also be used to treat bipolar disorder and alcoholism.
According to Nassif, the drug combo can “make you slur the words a little bit. It’s going to make you out of it.”
Richards also swears she hasn’t had a drink in ages.
What do you think? You buying it?

Some medications for bipolar disorder can make you feel very sleep, drowsy, dizzy…It can be a real pain. Trazodone is more frequently used for sleep disorders as it makes you, well, extremely sleepy. But I’m not familiar with Topamax.

I believe this was set up in response to discussion on internet regarding Kim’s ‘out of it’ demeanour at times. Still does not explain, like when was on the plane, and the drive up to the snowm, she was out oacting like she was not sedated but speeding.

I was on Topamax for 3 years to treat my migraines… it did NOT make me act like that
