During filming for ‘Expendables 2,’ a stuntman lost his life after a planned explosion went array. The Sofia News Agency and The Huffington Post report that the unnamed stuntman died after the explosion, which was featured with a fake bomb in a rubber boat, somehow took a wrong turn. Though no specific details on the incident have been released, it is known that two other performers were injured in the explosion.
Producers of Nulmage/Millenium Films confirmed the death in a statement:
“It is with great regret that we confirm this unfortunate accident. Our hearts go out to the families and those on the production affected by this tragedy. The filmmakers are working closely with the authorities in responding to and investigating this accident.”
The sequel to the successful action-packed movie, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jean-Claude Van Dam, Bruce Willis, Liam Hemsworth and John Travolta is scheduled for a 2012 summer release.
Movies aren’t always glitz and glamour. Rest in peace.

Bette Midler is a diva in her own right, and after she accused pop star Lady Gaga for mimicking her “mermaid in a wheelchair” costume, she now can laugh about the whole ordeal. She initially tweeted Gaga saying:
“You can keep the meat dress… mermaid’s mine.”
Speaking on the incident now, she says:
“We had a feud, which I loved.”
“I’m not a good tweeter. I said a couple of things. I opened a can of worms. I wasn’t irked at all! I thought it was hilarious. I was actually very flattered, and then we sort of put it to rest.”
Does that mean Diva M is a little monster now?

Johnny Depp‘s characters definitely love their rum, from Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean to The Rum Diary which opens tomorrow. His upcoming film is based on the novel by Hunter S. Thompson about a journalist that moves to Puerto Rico and indulges in a number of alcohol-infused adventures. Now Brugal Rum has created the “Caribbean Kiss” drink in honor of Depp’s rum loving roles. If you want to try it for yourself, take a gander at the recipe below:
Caribbean Kiss
1.5 oz. Brugal Añejo Rum
.5 oz. Amaretto
1 oz. Simple Syrup
1 oz. Pineapple Juice
In a shaker with ice, combine ingredients, shake well and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.

James Franco has taken some hits from critics this year due to having immersed himself into seemingly innocent (and sometimes bizarre) projects that have included porn documentaries, James Dean art shows, publishing short stories, furthering his education, directing music videos and indie films, and posing for eccentric magazine covers.
And he wants you to know that he doesn’t car what you think, because people who usually have something to say about mainstream artists and films are “idiots.”
“I don’t think what I’m doing is confusing,” he tells Flaunt. “What is confusing is that I’m an actor in mainstream film and the people that usually comment on mainstream film are idiots, and they don’t try to think outside of their pop-culture commentaries. It’s so easy to criticize contemporary art from the outside: ‘Douglas Gordon slowed down Psycho so it’s 24-hours long? That’s easy! I can do that.’ That’s how the morons in the blogosphere try to critique my work. But the great thing about it is, is that their critiques are part of my work. I like that they are confused. I like that they make fun of what I’m doing. It’s a beautiful reflection of where our culture is at the moment.”

I seriously sat here for five minutes trying to think up the right thing to say – and nothing came to mind. I mean – what’s there to say???
You caption this post. Sinead O’Connor _____________
The 44-year-old singer once again looks like her early-90s self! O’Connor performed at the amFAR Inspiration Gala on Thursday in West Hollywood and showed off her bald ‘do!
In August, the Irish singer was completely unrecognizable; she performed in her hometown of Bray in County Wicklow with chopped, shoulder-length black hair and fuller figure.
One reason O’Connor might be returning to her ’90s look? She’s “desperate for sex.”
In September, she posted on her official website that she was “in dire” need of intercourse and needed to “take drastic action” before it was too late. “What I do for a living makes it hard for me to find men that only want me because they like my (legendary) arse,” she wrote. “Yet I am in the peak of my sexual prime and way too lovely to be living like a nun, and it’s very depressing.”
What qualities does O’Connor look for in a man? “He must be no younger than 44, must not be named Brian or Nigel, must be blind enough to think I’m gorgeous, has to be employed and he has to like his mother” — among various other requirements.
A mother of four children, O’Connor came out as a lesbian in 2005. She later told Entertainment Weekly: “I’m three-quarters heterosexual, a quarter gay.”

During an interview with Extra TV, Larry King revealed that he was one of Ponzi scheme king Bernie Madoff’s victims, saying that invested almost $700,000 — all of which he got back. He said that his money was returned by the government as well as the Madoff estate, but he recognizes that he’s one of the lucky ones.
“We got it back — but a lot of people sure didn’t,” he said.
The Madoff family is back in the headlines after Bernie’s ex-wife Ruth revealed to 60 Minutes that she and her ex-husband attempted suicide on Christmas Eve 2008, just two weeks after his arrest.
Last December in New York, Bernie’s 46-year-old son Mark Madoff hanged himself with a dog leash while his 2-year-old son was sleeping in the next room. It was the second anniversary of his father’s arrest.
Bernie is service a 150 year sentence for his eleven felonies.
