Charlie Sheen is sad…more like “extremely disappointed”…with how Two and a Half Men is “handling what [he] left behind.”

Sheen was out in L.A. yesterday … when a photog asked if Charlie could explain why “Men” was slipping in the ratings from the show’s explosive debut.

Charlie — who recently said he “loved” the first episode of the Ashton Kutcher era –  explained, “People aren’t stupid … not all of them.”

FYI — “Men” is still high atop the ratings … in fact, this week’s episode is UP one-and-a-half rating points from the episode that ran exactly one year ago.

Though Kris Humphries was spotted moving boxes out of his NYC home that he shares with wife Kim Kardashian, the couple — AGAIN — want to hush rumors that they’re breaking up.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are NOT on the verge of a split … not even close … despite several screaming magazine covers and websites SWEARING they’re headed for divorce.

Sources say that there is a move going on, however, they couple are moving on up to the Westside — to Los Angeles.

The couple had been living out of NYC’s swagtastic Gansevoort Hotel for a couple months while Kim shot her new reality show “Kim and Kourtney Take New York” — and yesterday, it was finally time to move out.

As for Kris’ lack of wedding ring — we’re told the guy just isn’t a fan of jewelry.

Not taking any chances, troubled actress Lindsay Lohan showed up a cool 90 minutes early to serve her community service at the Los Angeles County Morgue. Driving up in a brand new Porsche (where is her money coming from?), she made sure she didn’t repeat her mistake from Thursday, in which she was 20 minutes late to the appointment.

“With all of the stress and pressure from yesterday and today, I’ve never been so happy to go to therapy!!!! Also, I’m sorry for the confusion that I may of caused to those at the Coroner’s office. Won’t happen again, now I know where to go! Thank you for your help.”

Earlier today, Coroner Assistant Chief Ed Winter announced that Lindsay will be working as a janitor….in a morgue? *shudders*

“Ms. Lohan completed her orientation this morning and she’s currently working, doing janitorial duties. She’s doing fine.”

Winter had previously described her duties as to include mopping floors, washing windows and taking out the garbage. “She won’t be handling any dead bodies but she’ll certainly see them,” Winter added.

Michael Douglas‘ son Cameron is currently serving 5-years in prison for drug dealing has recently pleaded guilty for having drugs in his prison cell. Now, Cameron faces an additional 20 years behind bars, three year probation and $250,000 fine.

Douglas, 32, is charged with possessing items that tested positive for cocaine and heroin, which were found in his cell by an investigator. Assistant U.S. Attorney Justin Anderson told the court one of the substances tested positive for methadone, which he described as “something that people take when they’re coming off a heroin addiction in order to facilitate the withdrawal,” according to a court transcript.

“God knows I am sorry,” records show he told the judge.

Michael released this statement about his son:

“Cameron accepts full responsibility for his conduct, which involved a small user-quantity of drugs. While he has made much progress, he is still not cured. Most people and their families are able to address this illness privately and outside of the spotlight. Unfortunately this has not been possible here, for reasons completely outside of his control. He thanks those that have rooted for his recovery and looks forward to the day when he will not disappoint.”

Cameron’s sentencing date is December 21.

Zac Efron celebrated his 24th birthday last night in London, England, with champagne at the Chinese restaurant Hakkasan.

Zac and about 15 friends (including a movie producer) partied the night away.

Rumor has it, Zac is in talks to play a Marvel superhero, Namor the Sub-Mariner.

Marvel movies have become big box-office draws, turning Robert Downey, Jr. into Iron Man; Chris Hemsworth into Thor; and Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield into Spider-Man. Chris Evans will be playing patriotic Marvel superhero Captain America this weekend, and many actors and actresses have experienced success playing the X-Men. So since Marvel superhero movies are so successful, it’s safe to say that Zac should be extremely flattered to be offered a role in one, right?

There’s just one tiny little problem — he’s been offered a role playing Namor the Sub-Mariner.

The Sub-Mariner is one of Marvel’s earliest superheroes, debuting in 1939. He’s the mutant son of a princess from Atlantis and a human sea captain with a variety of superpowers, including strength, speed, flight, and the ability to breathe underwater (he’s like a merman with legs). The Sub-Mariner has been portrayed in comic books with Spock-like eyebrows and pointed ears, wearing a green Speedo® that looks like fish scales. In short, he looks just a bit silly, and it’s really hard to imagine Zac Efron– or anyone– playing him.

However, Namor has teamed up with the Avengers and interacted with some of the characters from the X-Men in the Marvel universe, so landing the part could possibly lead to more lucrative movie opportunities for Zac.

What do you think about Zac playing a superhero? Hey, I say if Andrew Garfield can pull off Spider-Man, anything is possible.
