Hours after news broke that she filed for divorce from Kris Humphries following just two months of marriage, the reality star, 31, released a statement to Us Weekly.

“After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage,” she says of Humphries, 26, whom she wed in a notoriously lavish Aug. 20 wedding in Montecito, Calif.

“I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.”

Kim stepped out by herself on Friday night to host Midori’s Halloween party, just 2 days before announcing her 72-day-marriage was over.

For months, hell, ever since they got married 2.5 months ago, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humprhies have been hounded by rumors that they were going to split.

Kim confirmed the news this morning when it was reported that she was filing for divorce. So what went wrong? Let’s look at some of the stories we’re hearing this morning:

According to TMZ, Kris always thought Kim was going to move with him to his home state Minnesota.

“We’re told Kris was passionate about eventually settling down in Minnesota, where he’s from … and believed Kim was on board with the plan. She wasn’t. Sources tell us Kim — who’s from L.A. — wants to stay near her family … and she also feels that staying in town is the best thing for her career.”

I don’t know if I buy this one. I don’t even know Kim, and I know she’s never going to leave Los Angeles. She’s as big of a fame whore as I’ve ever seen. Why was he crazy enough to believe she’d actually move out of California?

US Weekly is reporting that Kris was getting awfully fed up with the Kardashians – period.

The newylweds are “not getting along at all,” one insider said. “Kris is not drinking the Kardashian Kool-Aid, and it’s causing major problems.”

At issue? While Kardashian, 31, juggles her reality shows and multiple moneymaking ventures, the basketball hunk 26, is unemployed thanks to the NBA lockout — and partying up a storm on his wife’s dime.

The pair wed lavishly in Montecito, Calif. after just nine months of dating. “On some levels,” says a friend, “she feels like she made a mistake.”

Seeing as how this is Kim’s second incredibly brief marriage – I’d like to throw my 2 cents out there. Kim is crazy. I don’t think she knows what she wants. She threw a $10 million wedding for a man she either never loved – or was delusional about. I think she likes the idea of the happy ending – the happy ever after – but I’m not sure she’d ever be satisfied with being married. Doesn’t fit into her business plan.

Babies, babies, babies. I’m a thirty-something mother of two wonderful boys, and lately babies are on my brain a lot lately. My sister had a baby only a couple months ago, and having a baby around definitely stirs up some weird emotions for me.

My youngest is nine years old, and the thought of having another is both exciting and scary. My husband and I have been talking at length lately about whether or not it is the right time to have another – or if it’s right for our family to have another child at all.

How do you know when your family is done? How do you know when the urges you feel aren’t just normal hormonal changes? Is my biological clock telling me that these are my last years to have another baby – if I wanted to? Do I really want another child – or is my body telling me I should do it now or never?

There are sooooo many things to consider when deciding whether or not to have another baby. Like I said earlier, my youngest is nine years old – so having another baby would literally be starting over for me. Am I ready for that? Do I want that?

Just because I want another baby – does that mean I should have one? Is wanting another baby the only thing that matters? I always have been a firm believer that money shouldn’t be a reason to NOT have a child. I believe it all works out in the end… but when I say that to myself now, do I really believe it? Should I just throw caution to the wind and go with my urges?

I had my babies early. I was 23 when my first son was born, and 25 with my second. Having another child in my 30′s would be so different. I feel like I’m much more mature this time around – maybe I could slow down and enjoy it more?

I honestly don’t know if I’m done or not – I can’t say. But I know I need to decided soon!

I feel like these feelings I’m having are totally normal for a person my age, but let me tell you, I’d give anything to know for sure – 100% if I’m done or not. I wish I knew what was right for me! Wish I had a crystal ball!

After some incredibly unflattering pictures of her teeth hit the web earlier this month, the 25-year-old troubled actress debuted her new teeth on Twitter this weekend.

“Thanks Dr. Dorfman for the zoom,” she wrote on her WhoSay page, referring to Zoom!, a popular teeth-whitening procedure.

Adding, “My gums are so sore though!”

On Saturday, Lindsay showed off her new teeth while partying at the Playboy Mansion, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

Additionally, Access has learned that Lindsay will reshoot her Playboy spread — with her new & improved smile — on Thursday and Friday.

Lindsay’s teeth may be picture perfect, but her legal future is still a bit foggy.

After doing court-ordered community service for the past two weeks at the Los Angeles County Morgue, the actress – who posed for Playboy last week – will appear in court on Wednesday, where she will once again face Judge Stephanie Sautner.

The judge could send her back to jail for failing to previously complete her community service work at the the Downtown Women’s Center in Los Angeles.
