Hef’s runaway bride, Crystal Harris has sold her engagement ring at an auction at Christie’s New York for $38,000, half of its original purchase price!
Hugh Hefner, 85, bought the 3.39 carat diamond ring for $90,000 and proposed to Crystal on Christmas Eve 2010. Whether it was a case of cold feet or conscience got the better of her, the former Playmate called it quits just five days before their June 18th nuptials.
It is reported that Crystal, 25, had the ring valued within weeks after she announced the news and when the jewelry shop owner offered his condolences, she replied: “Are you kidding?! It was all for publicity!”
Hef recently disclosed on Twitter the true nature of this one-time Playboy cover girl stating, “Crystal gave me Charlie [her dog] and I let her keep the engagement ring.”
I guess she has her priorities sorted out! Someone hand this girl a shovel, coz there’s a gold digger in town!
Mom-to-be Hilary Duff and her husband Mike Comrie stopped by a vet hospital in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon. After dropping their dog off they headed to a local eatery for lunch together. Hilary walked around covering her growing baby bump with her shirt and arms. Maybe she should have opted for a turtle-neck, because that looks like a hickey on her neck!

Well it seems sparks have flown for Shiloh Jolie-Pitt and Kingston Rossdale, after the Jolie-Pitt/ Rossdale playdate a few weeks ago at Gwen Stefani’s pad in London. Their moms, Gwen and Ange are said to have played matchmaker and encouraged the budding romance between the two five year olds. Either that, or Ange was testing Shiloh to see if she really is a lesbian!
“They have always shared a very special bond since they were babies,” reveals a source. “Shiloh and Kingston love playing the same games, watching the same movies and even dressing up in the same silly costumes. Whatever Kingston does, Shiloh imitates. They even Skype when they’re not in the same city.”
Sounds like there could be a new reality television show in the midst! The producers at E! will love this one!
While shopping at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City on Monday, Jessica Simpson, 30, encountered some toilet trouble in the ladies room!
“Short girl problems,” Simpson wrote beneath a TwitPic of her feet, dangling from the toilet, too short to reach the floor.

The Oscar-winning actor, 60, married Susan at the luxurious Meadowood Resort in Napa Valley on Sunday. Guests included Steven Speilberg, George Lucas and Billy Crystal.
