According to US Weekly, this season of ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ will continue to go through major changes, following the suicide of Russell Armstrong.
“We’ve completed editing on the first few episodes, but are still reviewing the rest of the season,” the show’s executive producer, Douglas Ross, tells Us Weekly. “Russell does not appear in the first several episodes. At this point, I can’t say if Russell will appear at all.”
What scenes were definitely left on the cutting room floor for sensitivity’s sake? The premiere episode originally featured Taylor Armstrong shopping for lingerie in an attempt to spice up her flagging marriage to Russell. “You’re not going to see anything like that,” a show insider says.
One scene that fans did see on Monday’s premiere was an awkward dinner moment at the home of Adrienne Maloof – in which Lisa Vanderpump’s husband Ken Todd calls the Armstrong’s decision to try couple’s therapy “weak.” “Lisa was very upset that the producers weren’t taking out that part,” admits the insider.
But Taylor’s big-time meltdown – “I’m breaking!” she cries in a teaser for the season – will indeed see the light of day later this season.
In the meantime, behind the scenes, the Housewives are rallying around their grieving friend. “They all asked that her story be handled delicately,” the source says. “This has brought them all much closer together.” (US Weekly)
Did you watch last night’s premiere? What did you think? I heard that the housewives had gotten together in the last week or two to film a “suicide special” that would air before the premiere. I was a bit disappointed with the “special” because it seemed more like all of the women venting about how they didn’t know he was that depressed – and “how could we know” types of talks. They did seem upset that he had died, I don’t know – it just seemed so…………. scripted.
I’ve decided I think LeAnn Rimes looks better clothed. Her new boobs are not pretty – once they settled – they promptly exited to stage left and right. Here she’s obviously in a bra, and her breasts are back where God her surgeon intended (ish).
Lady Gaga “bares it all” in the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar. According to Gaga, this is the first printed black and white cover in 20 years.
A few months ago, Donatella Versace threw open the doors of the Versace archive in Milan, which contains pieces from the glorious, Medusa’d peak of the Gianni years, for Lady Gaga to plunder at will. “It was me and my friends,” Gaga remembers of this particular fashion moment. “We were all running around this warehouse laughing and putting on jackets and shoes. We started crying at one point. I’ve been dreaming of seeing those outfits my whole life.”
It’s not a secret that Lady Gaga loves to dress up — in Mugler, in Alexander McQueen, in meat. Lately, “there are some amazing emerging kids from Parsons. I’ve been wearing a lot of young designers,” she explains. She wore a custom-made Hussein Chalayan dress in her recent “Yoü and I” video and chuckles that without McQueen, “I’d be naked.” But for this shoot, which will soon be seen in a “fashion film” created in collaboration with photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, a basically barefaced Gaga is very deliberately dressed down.
While this might seem a departure from more theatrical Gaga garb, she doesn’t see the slightest difference. “I don’t really view it as ‘natural,’” she explains. “I think that artifice is the new reality. It’s more about just being honest and sincere to the core of what you do. Whether I’m wearing lots of makeup or no makeup, I’m always the same person inside.”
But does she ever look in the bathroom mirror in the morning and think, Here we go again? “Sometimes I do. It all really depends on my mood for the day. But I think the perception that I ‘put it on’ every day is probably not true.”
The cast of the upcoming movie “The Avengers” were busy on set as they prepare to film for the super-hero packed thriller in New York. Cast includes Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Robert Downey Jr. (IronMan), Chris Evans (Captain America), Tom Hiddleson (Loki), Stellan Skarsgard (Prof. Erik Selvig), and Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner).
Kim Kardashian is living with psoriasis. I don’t know how she does it. I mean, how awful. What could POSSIBLY be worse than psoriasis!? (You picking up my sarcasm here?) Kim boldly and bravely opened up about her struggles with psoriasis on her reality show, ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’. We got to see Kim break down and lose it over getting the awful diagnosis. Is there a medal we can give her?
Well, these pictures landed in my inbox this morning, and I realized that Kimmy is probably using this psoriasis as a way to make more money.
This is a photo of my psoriasis before! The next pic in the galley is the AFTER pic! I’m using Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs spray and it is my lifesaver at the moment! I love this stuff! It really covers up my psoriasis so well!
Now, I’m only guessing that she’s being paid for this blurb in her blog….but methinks the Kardashian’s wouldn’t turn away a chance to make a buck. They will promote anything! Sell anything! Heck, Kris is making money off her incontinence issues!
Ever the opportunist, 55-year-old Kris Jenner managed to turn incontinence into yet another money maker, landing a gig as the face of Poise pads.
During a news conference in Italy, a fan walked up to Madonna and handed her a boquet of beautiful purple hydrangeas. But apparently he didn’t know the singer “LOATHES” them. She is heard on the mic saying “I absolutely loathe hydrangeas. How does he not know that?” Poor guy, how in the hell would anyone know that!?
Madonna is at the Venice Film Festival promoting her new film, ‘W.E.’.
Evan Rachel Wood has upped her performance game since covering Justin Bieber in a Chinese karaoke bar — because last week, she sang for an A-list crowd including George Clooney!
The 23-year-old actress took the mic at the after-party for “The Ides of March” premiere at the Venice Film Festival last Wednesday, where she performed the classic 4 Non Blondes hit “What’s Up?” for a crowd including co-star Clooney and actress Robin Wright.
Wood, who sang in the film “Across the Universe” and once covered Bieber’s “Baby”, absolutely killed it … all while wearing a gorgeous Alessandra Rich gown.
After watching the video on TooFab, 4 Non Blondes singer Linda Perry says Evan did “Pretty damn good.”
