A source close to Taylor reveals that she underwent Lasik eye surgery on July 5. Days later, the source claims that she was hit by Russell so hard that her corneal flap was dislocated.

For the rest of the month of July, Taylor was not seen in public as her injuries healed. Her first public appearance after that was on August 1, at a press tour promoting season two of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Kylie Jenner had some hardcore cheerleaders in the front row as she walked her first runway last night for Avril Lavigne’s Abbey Dawn clothing line: Her superstar sisters!

Kim Kardashian, her husband Kris Humphries and sisters Kourtney and Kendall all sat right up front as Kylie made her Fashion Week debut for Avril’s punk clothing line.

The sisters were out of their seats, shouting at 14-year-old Kylie every time she hit the runway, looking proud of their little sis and taking personal photos the entire time.

Also cheering her on: Step-brother Brody Jenner, who also just happens to date designer Avril. What a coincidence, right?

The accolades poured in after the show, with Kim tweeting “She was so fab!” and Kourtney adding “@KylieJenner rocked it walking in Avril’s Abbey Dawn show! So much fun!!!!

Brody commented as well, tweeting “Just saw @KylieJenner walk in the @AbbeyDawn fashion show!.. She looked beautiful and was such a natural. Proud to be her brother ”

This story is so ridiculous – so insane – I sincerely hope it’s not true. Sad thing is – I believe every word of it. It has been rumored in the past that Madonna doesn’t let peasants look her in the eyes. It’s been said that she makes her staff look away – or down – when she is in their presence. So when I read this story this morning about Madonna making volunteers turn their faces to the wall so that they wouldn’t look at her popped up – I knew it had to be true.

Sounds like Madonna was all smiles and compliments for Canada in general and TIFF in particular, when she visited the festival Monday to promote her new film, W.E., about famous divorcé, the Duchess of Windsor, Wallis Simpson. One observer even heard her thank the festival’s orange-shirted volunteers.

It was a bit of a different story backstage, however, when eight of those volunteers were asked to turn their faces to a wall so that they would not look at the pop-star-turned-movie-director as she made her way to her press conference about the film. One volunteer told the Globe they all dutifully stood with their backs to her as she passed.

In previous appearances, Madonna has pointed out the similarities between herself and the Duchess, both Americans transplanted to the U.K. and both prisoners of celebrity.

At the Venice Film Festival earlier this month, the Associated Press reported her saying “I think once you become famous, you have to pretty much relinquish the idea that people are going to see you for who you are, or look beyond the surface of things. I think that was a source of great frustration for Wallis Simpson and for Edward VIII, because after he abdicated, they didn’t really have the opportunity to defend themselves.”

Well, one tip for celebs who want people to see beyond the surface: Hire staff who insist you be treated like a human being, not a deity incarnate, and treat them with such respect they would refuse any ridiculous suggestion that you could not be looked at on your way to a public event specifically designed to market your latest work.

Isn’t she disgusting!? These types of “holier than thou” celebs just make me SICK. I hope her movie tanks.

Yesterday Kate Gosselin appeared on the Today Show, where in an interview she told the world that ex-husband Jon Gosselin works a “mediocre….regular job”, promptly insulting regular-job-working Americans like moi. The woman makes me CRAZY. Crazy, I tell you. I think she’s such a snot – to put it nicely. She has a really crappy attitude, and wish she’d just drop off the face of the earth, to be honest. Let’s follow up with Kate in 10 years when her kids are all teenagers – and she’s back to her crazy long-on-one-side hair cut. Deal?

Anyway, back to yesterday. Well, apparently – according to Kate – she was just defending herself. Oh PS: good luck figuring out what the heck she’s even talking about. I read this about 4 times, and I’m still not sure I understand it. From Hollybaby:

“2clarify re ‘mediocre’ – I meant this job is not a career acc 2 jon but tv is 4 me & is hard but will prov best opps 4 my kids vs nursing!” Kate wrote on Twitter, attempting to backtrack
“So, because my husband and I aren’t on tv constantly like @Kateplusmy8 , we’re only providing a “mediocre” life for our daughter?” A Twitter follower tweeted at Kate, who replied with, “That’s not wut I said @all. Was responding 2jons comment only re ME getting a ‘normal’ job–which would not work$ bc I hav 8!”

Does she really believe that keeping them on TV – and all the garbage that comes with it – is actually better for her children rather than going back to nursing? Really? Cause all the other reality-show-kids that have come before her children have all turned out so great?

Singer Fergie and her husband actor Josh Duhamel looked refreshed and ready for some football as they left their hotel in Miami, Florida. Fergie and The Black Eyed Peas performed during the NFL Dolphins vs. New England Patriots game on Monday Night Football followed by a 9/11 tribute extravaganza.
