Britney Spears leaves the Kiss FM studio sporting a big ring on her engagement ring finger in London, England. Of course Britney and her camp do all sorts of denying that the singer is getting married.

Speculation that Britney Spears was set to become a near-future fiancée has been silenced, at least for now, after a statement from Britney’s rep was issued earlier today (Sept. 13).

Rumors hit the web that Britney’s boyfriend of two years and former agent, Jason Trawick, was getting ready to pop the question to his pop-star girlfriend after he was spotted shopping for bling at a high-end jewelers in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon.

Trawick did indeed meet with jeweler Pascal Mouaward, as reported, but not about a diamond ring for Britney.

It looks like the Femme Fatale will not be a fiancée fatale anytime soon, according to the Spears camp. “There is no truth to that report with regards to engagement rings. However, Jason was there to discuss other matters with Pascal, but nothing relating to him personally,” Brit’s rep told People.

However, a recent confession from Brit herself, in which she admitted she’s considering walking down the aisle and having kids with her current beau, suggests an engagement may still be in the cards for the couple somewhere down the line.

Britney is set to film her ‘Criminal’ video in the streets of London before she starts her European tour.

Sofia Vergara opens up in a very candid interview with The Advocate magazine. In the interview she opens up about her gay following, growing up Catholic, and seeing a transvestite when she looks in the mirror.

On Her Gay Following:

I’ve always had plenty of gay fans, even back in Colombia, probably because I’m voluptuous and a little over the top. Gay men always tell me how fabulous I am. I think they want to be Gloria. It’s great. But it’s a reality that more and more people are coming out, so I think it’s important to return their support. Oh, there aren’t that many [lesbian admirers], are there? That’s flattering. All my fans must be very respectful, because I’ve never had a guy or a girl come up and grab my ass.

On Being Raised Catholic:

I had the opportunity to be educated and to travel around the world with my family, and those things help. The more that you’re exposed to different things, you stop seeing them as weird. Besides, my family never had a bad experience with gays, because the gay people we knew were amazing, hardworking, and professional. The only thing is that, when I was younger, I remember thinking, I hope my son or daughter isn’t gay. Not because it’s a bad thing but because I knew how hard it is in the Latin culture to be gay. Life is already difficult, and it’s hard enough to find someone and be happy, so I thought that being gay would just triplicate the trouble.

On Her Gay Role:

I did a movie called Grilled with Ray Romano and Kevin James that went straight to video. I played a transsexual, a guy who had gone all the way with the operation to become a woman. I had a great time playing that character. I look like a transsexual anyway. I’m a woman, but I’m super-exaggerated with my boobs, my ass, my makeup, and my accent. When I get ready for an event, I always look at myself in the mirror and say, “I look like a transvestite!” I love it.

On Her Friend Jane Lynch:

It’s great. When we see each other, we kiss and hug each other. I really admire her. Her role on “Glee” is amazing, and you know what? She deserved to win. I love her. But yes, the media does seem to want us to have this funny rivalry, and I don’t mind.

On Her Girl Crush:

I have many, but I love Halle Berry. She’s perfection. Every time I see her, I want to give her a standing ovation because she’s so flawless.

If she looks like a transvestite, I have no idea what that makes me!

True Blood’s Joe Mangeniello and fiancee Audra Marie have called it quits, multiple sources confirm to Us Weekly. The actor and model/actress had been dating for about a year and a half before getting engaged in October. He popped the question while on vacation in Italy. At the time, Manganiello gushed to E! News of his love: “I always dreamed of finding someone who is beautiful and sweet, equal parts. And I did. From there she’s just unbelievably understanding and compassionate and patient from all the craziness that comes from this job and lifestyle.”

“It’s totally over,” one pal says.

Adds another insider: “It was a long time coming. They’ll both be better off for it.”

Manganiello’s rep does not comment on his personal life.

By spring 2011, a source close to the actor noted he “refused” to set a wedding date. “He [went] completely quiet about discussing wedding details,” the source said.

As his then bride-to-be forged ahead with choosing her wedding dress, her bridal party and even her gift registry, “He [was] clearly having reservations.”

Manganellio hasn’t exactly gone into hiding in the wake of the split. On Monday Sept. 12, he hit the W Hotels’ Fashion Next bash for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week — where he and actress Rose McGowan sat and chatted together for a while and sipped champagne.

“I was surprised how long they chatted for,” an onlooker says.

Nicolas Cage doesn’t seem to be a stranger to bizarre events. Or maybe I just assume that because he’s such a weird dude. Well, while promoting his new movie ‘Trespass’ at the Toronto International Film Festival, Nic opened up about having to deal with a trespasser of his own, once.

“It was two in the morning. I was living in Orange County at the time and was asleep with my wife,” he said, remembering back to a scary home invasion he once experienced. “My two-year old at the time was in another room. I opened my eyes and there was a naked man wearing my leather jacket eating a Fudgesicle in front of my bed.”

Yeah – that’s a bit freaky! Can you imagine (I would DIE)!

Okay – now let’s talk about this movie ‘Trespass’. For SOME unknown reason, Nicole Kidman agreed to do a movie opposite Nicolas Cage. And an action movie – at that. It is the strangest casting I’ve seen in a LONG time. We’re supposed to believe them as a married couple? I think not! Nicole needs to stick to the kind of movies she does best…. dramas.
