Actor Seth Rogen smokes a lot of marijuana, in case you haven’t noticed. He’s made an entire movie about it, done it while presenting an award, and pretty muched talked about it as much as possible. While visiting MTV promoting his latest film 50/50, Seth talked about his favorite pass time once again, saying it’s what keeps him so creative:
“I either get people started smoking weed or I put them out of business smoking weed. I’m either your first or last.”
“I smoke a lot of weed when I write, generally speaking,” he told us. “I don’t know if it helps me write. It makes me not mind that I’m writing. And I don’t know if it makes me work better, but it makes me not care that I’m working. Who wants to work? But if you’re stoned, it doesn’t seem like work.”
“I think a lot of people smoke weed. I think way more people smoke weed than the media likes to acknowledge. Maybe it’s just the people I’m around, but I don’t think so. Pretty much everyone that I know smokes weed sometimes — with the exception of my parents.”
Retraction: This story was BS as I originally thought (should have known better than to publish it). The Star article has since been repudiated and contradicted – and the statements which were reported to have been made my Justin Theroux, were, in fact, falsely attributed to him in the Star article. Basically Star Magazine and RadarOnline messed up with their crummy story – and unreliable sources. I should say source- they only had one source.
Basically – sorry Justin Theroux! Next time I’ll think twice before posting anything from Star Magazine!
These pictures are from last night. Justin and Jennifer stepped out for dinner in NYC.
It was revealed today what the cast of the upcoming ‘American Pie’ sequel were being paid. Let’s just say Tara Reid was at the bottom of the totem pole.
Is it just me – or is Anna Faris‘ face looking a bit… off these days. I don’t know what it is. Botox? Lip injections? What I do know is that hair has GOT to go. Platinum blonde is not a good look on her. Niether are those dreadful bangs. On a positive note, however, that dress and her shoes are HOT!
In a new interview, Anna reveals her “number”. She said she slept with 5 men before her husband.
Anna Faris candidly revealed that she bedded a total of five guys before marrying her husband, “Moneyball” star Chris Pratt, in 2009.
“I’m at five,” the star said at a screening of “What’s Your Number?” “Don’t you think five is kind of low? I’m 34!” During a pre-screening interview Tuesday night with Marie Claire editor Joanna Coles, Faris added, “I’m not a very good lover. I’m so nervous about my sexuality.”
In the film, Faris plays an unlucky-in-love woman who frets she’ll never find Mr. Right after learning the average woman sleeps with 10.5 men before finding “the one,” and she’s bordering on 20.
“I think 20 is kind of low,” she told Coles. “Shouldn’t it be like 70?” Faris — who was recently hailed by Tad Friend in the New Yorker as the future of female comedy — also said that she doesn’t read reviews.
“I try not to read [them],” she said at the Joseph Urban Theatre. “The bad ones really cling. And I’m lucky that I’ve been part of a lot of poorly received movies, so I’m immune. ‘Scary Movie 4’ was a brilliant movie. I’m shocked it didn’t get nominated.”
Elizabeth Hurley and her equally fashionable son, 9-year-old Damien, showed up last night at Selfridges for Breast Caner Awareness.
Hurley was at the department store to help launch the Estée Lauder Pink Ribbon Collection, which will raise money for breast cancer awareness, and to turn on the matching colored lights.
Liz, 45, has been active in her role as Breast Cancer Awareness Ambassador for a few years and even created an ‘Elizabeth Pink’ lipstick with the company, the sales of which go to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
She took to her Twitter page afterwards and wrote ‘Had a great time at Selfridges. Wrist aches from a lot of signing. Met some brave cancer survivors who were supporting the cause. Humbling.’
This song gives me goosebumps every stinkin time I hear it! And darnit – I shaved this morning!
There’s something about this song that just makes me want to cry every time I hear it. Probably because you can FEEL her pain as she’s singing. And to know she wrote it for the love of her life who left her, makes the song even more painful. The song describes Adele going to visit an old boyfriend, only to find that he had moved on and gotten married. Heartbroken, she goes on to say that she’ll find someone just like him, even though she knows she never will.
Shot in Paris, in the very early hours of the morning, the video is little more than Adele wandering the deserted streets of the city, gazing longingly at the Seine, very nearly breaking into tears. Director Jake Nava made the smart decision to shoot it in arty, smudgy black-and-white, which only adds to the clip’s desolate, haunted feel. In a lot of ways, as she drifts along, Adele is little more than a ghost, haunting the streets, destined to remain invisible to all, especially the one she wants to notice.
It’s a lot like how everyone feels after heartbreak, and that’s what makes the “Someone Like You” video so powerful. There are no special effects, no camera tricks or elaborate choreography, because those are quick fixes. Life doesn’t operate that way, especially when the bottom falls out and we are all alone. Our days are endless, our hearts black, our skies are gray. And when it gets to that point, all we have is our pain, majestically, beautifully so. Thankfully, we also have Adele, and that sonorous, sorrowful voice of hers. Long live the Queen of Pain.
