Kim Kardashian has confirmed that when she walks down the aisle with Kris Humphries, she will be wearing a Vera Wang designer wedding dress.
“Vera has been a close family friend for a long time and we had talked about this moment for years,” Kardashian, 30, wrote on her blog. “So when it came to picking my wedding dress designer, she was the first person I thought of. No one designs gowns the way she does!”
The reality star and her sister, Kourtney, were seen at Wang’s NYC store last month, fueling speculation that Kim would be wearing a dress by the famed designer when she said “I do” to Kris Humphries.
Her sister, Khloe, told E! News she wanted Wang, 62, to design her sister’s gown: “Just because I love her, and I feel like when you think of wedding, you think of Vera Wang. I think it would be a perfect fit.”
Kim said she’s excited for Wang to “make my dream come true and create the most perfect gown for my special day.”
“This will be my dream wedding dress!” she gushed. “I’m so excited!”
I can’t wait to see what this dress will look like. I am sure it will be gorgeous!

Both men went down on bended knee to ask Ashley Hebert, 27, for her hand in marriage on the finale of The Bachelorette. She rejected Ben Flajnik but happily accepted JP Rosenbaum’s proposal.
First to propose, runner-up Flajnik didn’t take rejection lightly. “I’m sorry. I know this was unexpected, and I want you to know this is the hardest thing I’ve done here. This is not easy,” Hebert said as Flajnik, 28, walked away in stunned, angry silence. “You can’t leave something like this on good terms. It’s not possible,” replied Flajnik. “I’m in utter shock and disbelief.”
Shaken by his reaction, Hebert was able to regroup and gain her composure when Rosenbaum flew in via helicopter for his big moment.
“I’ve told you that my biggest fear is falling in love with you and having my heart broken again. I don’t think about now, I think about forever, and it’s hard to know,” Rosenbaum reasoned during his proposal. “What I do know for absolute certain is that I’m madly in love with you. I’m so in love with you. You’re the one. You’re it. Ashley, will you marry me?”
“Today is the reason why I went through all the good times and the bad times,” Hebert replied. “I’ve been wanting to tell you how much I love you for so long now. You mean the world to me and I don’t want to be with anyone else but you forever.”
The newly engaged couple’s happy moments on Monday’s show were almost marred by Hebert’s sister, Chrystie, who expressed her strong disapproval of the 34-year-old construction manager upon their first meeting.
“I don’t think he’s The One,” Chrystie told Ashley prior to Rosenbaum’s proposal. “What worries me is that I think you’re too much for him.”
But her family’s words of caution were no matter for the bachelorette, who accepted a dazzling Neil Lane sparkler anyway.
“My relationship with JP is everything I’ve ever wanted in a marriage,” Hebert said of her fiance. “We have this passion for each other, but we also have this magical, unspoken connection where it’s so easy and it feels like I’ve known him forever. He’s committed and he’s going to be a great family man. He is the total package for me.”
Now that their relationship can go public, Rosenbaum is equally as excited for Hebert to become his wife.
“When I look at Ashley, I see a great, smart, beautiful woman, a great friend [and] a great mother,” he gushed of his bride-to-be. “Ashley and I balance each other out perfectly. I don’t want to picture a life without her. I can’t wait for us to be engaged and for us to move on with the rest of our lives.”
I really liked both guys, but I was rooting for JP all the way. So I am glad he ended up with the final rose.

Samantha Ronson, former girlfriend of Lindsay Lohan, was caught driving under the influence and arrested. The incident took place Monday morning outside of Baker, CA around 10:30 a.m.
According to a law enforcement officer, the 33-year-old DJ was driving her black Porsche Targa 89 m.p.h. in a 70 m.p.h. zone. “Speed was why she was stopped, but she was arrested on [two] misdemeanors of driving under the influence,” an officer told Us. “When she was stopped, she showed signs of being impaired. [The officer] gave her balance tests and she showed signs of alcohol intoxication.”
Ronson, who famously dated Lindsay Lohan off and on from 2008 to 2009, was alone at the time of the arrest. “She was friendly and talkative,” an officer said. “She was cooperative throughout the whole ordeal.”
Ronson “admitted she had consumed alcohol early [that] morning or late last night, and was on her way home [from Las Vegas]” according to an officer. “She went to bed and got up this morning and was on her way home.”
Samantha was released at 5:30 p.m from the San Bernadino Sheriff’s office. Let’s hope she straightens up. Driving under the influence is a serious crime.

What the heck is going on with rock group Kings of Leon? Just recently lead singer Caleb Followill abruptly left the stage mid-performance to toss his cookies, and now a rep for the band has released an official statement saying that the band’s entire U.S. tour has been canceled.
“We are so sorry to say Kings of Leon are canceling their entire US tour due to Caleb Followill suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion.”
“The band is devastated, but in order to give their fans the shows they deserve, they need to take this break. Unfortunately, the US dates cannot be rescheduled due to the band’s international tour schedule.”
All tickets will be refunded in full and the band will go back on the road, resuming their tour in Canada on September 28.
