Ashton Kutcher is set to play Walden Schmidt on the hit sitcom “Two and a Half Men.” His character is a brokenhearted internet billionaire.

Information on Kutcher’s character was just released by Nina Tassler, CBS Entertainment president, at the Television Critics Association confab.

Ashton, who is replacing Charlie Sheen on the show, will make his debut as Walden Schmidt on September 19.

Former husband of Jessica Simpson, Nick Lachey, is doing his best to get new wife, Vanessa Minnilo, preggers.

The 37-year-old Sing-Off host ells E! News he’s “doing everything I can” to get Minnillo, 30, in the family way asap.

“Trust me, it would make me very happy,” he said. “Family is very important. It’s very important to us, and I’m sure that will be around the corner.”

Lachey told Parade magazine earlier this summer he wanted to become a father “sooner than later.”

“I’m getting up there,” he said. “I’ve gotta catch up with my brother. [Drew's] got two and I’ve got zero, so the pressure is on me!”

Minnilo is even on the family bandwagon. She updated her Twitter bio to include “wifey by night” and “wannabe mommy all the time.”

Nick’s got to stay one step ahead of Jessica Simpson at all times, so I am sure the duo will be pregnant in no time!

All kidding aside, I think they make a great pair. Hopefully their baby plans will soon become a reality.

Courtney Love goes drunk shopping in Sydney Australia and was nearly hit by a car. She tried to cross the street when the light was still red. A kind pedestrian pulled her back and Courtney replied, “stop telling me what to do, I can do what I want.”

Duchess Kate is learning how to kick kidnapper butt!

It is being reported that Kate has taken some secret SAS training classes to take on potential kidnappers.

“The Palace want to ensure Kate’s new status doesn’t make her vulnerable to attack,” a source is quoted as saying. “She has been well trained in what to do should the unthinkable happen.”

During Kate’s “very tough” training, she’s brushed up on survival skills — how to react when attacked and how to forge a dialogue with a kidnapper during a hostage situation.

“The VIP kidnap protection training teaches how to cope both mentally and physically,” the source explained.

There have been many other royals who have been trained by members of the SAS, MI5 officers and Scotland Yard officials. Including Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, the late Princess Diana and Prince William.

Prince William got trained at only 16 years of age. He was taught how to react in case of an ambush and also how to fire a machine gun.

Disney star Demi Lovato was spotted coming out of Teddy’s in Los Angeles. As she walked out with her cell phone in hand, there was a sticker on it which read, “Heroin Killed The Radio Star.”

Perhaps this is a reminder of all the celebrity lives lost to drug abuse and possibly a reminder to herself to stay clean and sober.
