Here we have ‘We Need to Talk About Kevin’, a new movie based upon the book by Lionel Shriver. The film stars Tilda Swinton and John C. Reilly as the parents of Kevin, played by Ezra Miller.
The film was nominated at Cannes for the Palme d’Or, and is receiving rave reviews.
The story revolves around a mother of a psychopath teenage mass murderer. The movie looks absolutely terrifying. Tilda is so creepy – and that kid! Whoever Ezra Miller is – yikes, that stare is going to give me nightmares!
Of coooooooooooourse they are. I mean – why wouldn’t they be!? Because according to the tabloids, Jennifer is desperate to get married and have a child. She’s finally snagged a boyfriend – so clearly she’s working on having a baby.
Jennifer Aniston and her beau of four months Justin Theroux are on the fast track to walk down the aisle…and procreate!
As Aniston, 42, and Theroux (who turns 40 on Wednesday) kick back on an extended getaway in a $7,000-a-day cliffside compound in Kauai, Hawaii, the hot twosome have more on their minds then coconuts, cocktails and outdoor yoga.
“They have talked at length about getting married and starting a family,” an insider close to the pair tells the new Us Weekly, out Wednesday. “She is anxious for the next phase of her life and feels like this is the time.”
And her hunky new guy (who split with girlfriend of 14 years Heidi Bivens in March) is completely on board with having a baby, a second insider says: “They both want it to happen soon.”
To that end, health nut Aniston is making sure her body is in tip-top shape to conceive while on the island — hiring a private chef and doing at least 45 minutes of yoga daily. “She’s detoxifying,” an island source says.
The Horrible Bosses star’s pals aren’t surprised in the slightest by Aniston’s race to become a mom with Theroux. “Jen hasn’t felt this way about anyone since Brad,” a pal says of Aniston’s ex-hubby Brad Pitt. (Aniston has had a famously rocky romantic life — with fizzled romances with Vince Vaughn, John Mayer and a slew of others — since her 2005 split with Pitt, 47.)
Adds another friend: “They are moving quickly, but they know the feelings they have about [each other] are different from past romances.”
If I had a dollar for everytime this story has been in the press I could quit my day job. With that said – I want to see a Jennifer/Justin baby!
Yesterday I posted pictures of Gerard Butler arriving in his home country of Scotland to play a charity soccer match. Today we have pictures from inside the locker room – and the actor shows off his amazingly ripped body!
Gerard was in Scotland to play in a benefit for ex-Celtic football (soccer) player John Kennedy. Kennedy requested that all proceeds from the game go towards relief efforts for the famine in East Africa.
So Gerard is dropping weight like crazy. It’s a bit scary how small he’s gotten. While he looks crazy small – he doesn’t necessarily look sickly. Is his rapid weight loss a problem?
Directed by Lone Scherfig (director of “An Education,” Academy Award-nominated for Best Picture), the motion picture “One Day” is adapted for the screen by David Nicholls from his beloved bestselling novel One Day. After one day together – July 15th, 1988, their college graduation – Emma Morley (Academy Award nominee Anne Hathaway) and Dexter Mayhew (Jim Sturgess of “Across the Universe”) begin a friendship that will last a lifetime. She is a working-class girl of principle and ambition who dreams of making the world a better place. He is a wealthy charmer who dreams that the world will be his playground. For the next two decades, key moments of their relationship are experienced over several July 15ths in their lives. Together and apart, we see Dex and Em through their friendship and fights, hopes and missed opportunities, laughter and tears.
Somewhere along their journey, these two people realize that what they are searching and hoping for has been there for them all along. As the true meaning of that one day back in 1988 is revealed, they come to terms with the nature of love and life itself.
Wow! When I saw these pictures today I thought holy cow – he doesn’t even look the same! Apparently I’m not the only one who noticed…
Actor Gerard Butler, 41, who was famously muscled when he appeared in Zack Snyder’s “300,” showed off a new and very slim figure on Aug. 4 at a Hollywood Foreign Press luncheon in Beverly Hills.
Butler is no stranger to a changing body, however. After he finished filming “300″ and gave up the intense workout regimen that went with it, he put a bit of weight back on. Just as soon as that happened, though, he got himself back to the gym and paid careful attention to eating healthily.
“My diet is still never quite as scheduled as I wish it were, but now I try to eat vegetables and chicken instead of burgers and fries like I used to,” he said to Men’s Health at the time.
And perhaps this newest transformation is also for a role. Butler’s next film will be “Machine Gun Preacher,” and he described his character, Sam Childers, to USA Today as “a drug addict and a biker-turned-businessman, missionary and soldier.”
If there was ever a character that chameleon Butler would change his shape for, it might be Childers. After all, he told the paper, “You don’t get roles like this very often.”

Here’s to hoping that ‘Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol’ won’t suck. I have high hopes for this movie, since the first couple were actually really good. I love a GOOD Tom Cruise action film, they’re just hard to come by. I also wonder if Tom even has it in him anymore. It’s been such a long time since he’s had a good – blockbuster film. Is he even an A-List actor anymore?
Here’s the trailer – which in my opinion actually looks decent, but I’ve been fooled one too many times by a good trailer. I thought Knight & Day looked good.
